Today we start retracing our steps towards Rest Camp.

We trek back towards Yabuk at a moderate pace, enjoying the beauty of the trek.
Yabuk - Jakthang (3430 m/11250 ft) (8 kms/3-4 hrs)
We continue to descend further towards Jakthang. Stay in tents.
Jakthang - Tallem (3240 m/10620 ft) (12 kms/4-5 hrs)
Today we start early and continue towards Tallem. Stay in tents.
Tallem - Lachen (2730 m/8950 ft) (12 kms/4-5 hrs)
On the final day, we will trek towards Lachen. Stay in tents/hotel.
Lachen - Gangtok (135 kms/5-6 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Gangtok. Overnight stay in hotel.
Gangtok - Bagdogra
In the morning, after breakfast, drive to Bagdogra airport. Tour & Services End.

Sikkim Green Lake Trek
This trail is incredibly scenic, blending natural beauty with breathtaking views of towering peaks. The path is lined with expansive stretches of dense forest, featuring various types of rhododendrons, vibrant flowers, numerous bird species, and waterfalls cascading on both sides. Kanchenjunga was among the first peaks attempted by expeditions before World War II. With Nepal being inaccessible, the route through Sikkim, via the Zemu Glacier, was chosen instead. Pre-war Everest expeditions also traversed North Sikkim, making this trail part of their journey. Today, it remains a largely unexplored area, as few groups have been permitted to cross to Green Lake. (Harish Kapadia).
