Via Lucullo, 110 - Discover the marvels of the ancient Roman city of Baia, a place where opulence was a way of life, now partially submerged due to the intense volcanic activity of the Phlegraean Fields.
Upon deciding to begin, a form will be provided to determine if a medical certificate is necessary, along with a brief online lesson to introduce the basics. Upon arrival at our Diving Center, participants will engage in a concise theoretical session led by our instructors, ensuring they are fully prepared to dive safely and enjoy every moment underwater!
All essential equipment will be supplied, and once prepared, a boat will take us to the Archaeological Park of Baia. Here, participants will marvel at ancient mosaics, statues, marble floors, and the historic structures of the Roman city of Baia, as well as the vibrant marine life that inhabits the area today! Two distinct dive sites will be explored in two consecutive dives. Instructors will be present throughout, offering guidance and support to ensure an unforgettable experience!

Baia was cherished by Roman emperors and senators, where opulence was the norm. Among the ruins, you’ll find statues, vibrant mosaics, thermal complexes, and all the ancient structures now submerged due to the bradyseism phenomenon in the Phlegraean Fields.
