Shahdag - ‏Hello, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 8:00 AM, accompanied by our tour guide, we set off on a tour bus to the Gabala and Shahdag region. The atmosphere of the trip was wonderful. We enjoyed the tour guide's style of explaining these tourist attractions, her beautiful style, her smile, her patience, and her great cooperation. Day trip to Candy cane mountains and Shahdog - Mountains was absolutely magical—and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Sayeed! From the moment we got on the bus, he kept the energy high with fun stories, jokes, and endless positivity. Not only is he incredibly sweet and thoughtful, but he’s also an amazing (and proudly self-declared!) photographer who knew exactly where and how to get the best shots. If you’re lucky enough to have Sayeed as your guide, you’re in for a day full of laughs, stunning views, and memories that last long after the trip ends. Highly recommend!

Memories from Shahdag - Shahdag was very foggy , but we liked it . Roller coaster, zip line, cable car and bike riding. Thanks Sayeed for professional guiding. You are the best). You should be a photographer because you takes amazing photos. Our group was very good , I made a lot of friends.

Amazing tour - We had trip with Smile tour to Shahdag ,Candy cane mountain, and Gachreah Forest. We enjoyed a lot because our guide was Sayeed who is very very very professional guide and very helpful. Also He is a very good photographer. He knows good spots to take photos. In Shahdag we did a lot of Activities such as Roller coaster , zip line , cable cars and so.

Must do tour - The tour to Shahdag was well organised. The stopping points on the tour were of the perfect length allowing Shahdag to be the main attraction. The tour guide did a great job at sharing information during the drive whilst allowing us to explore independently within the given time frames at the different locations. I recommend eating the traditional qutab made fresh from one of the local stalls at the Gachrash Forest rather than at the over priced restaurant. Overall the transport was comfortable and it is a tour that you have to try! 😁

Shahdag - 10/10 for punctuality. My guide was Naushad, and she's not only a good guide but an extremely helpful and great person as well. Thank you for making my trip memorable!

Visited Azerbaijan together with SmileTour - Our introduction to the wonderful SmileTour team began on February 23, 2025 in the Old Town of Baku. Without any thought, they chose an excursion to Khizy-Shahdag, and a pleasant surprise was that as a gift we were offered walks in the Old City and evening Baku. These excursions were led by an incredible guide – the indigenous Baku Samir. Listening to his stories, asking questions and just walking the ancient streets was a real pleasure. He not only showed all the main sights, but also shared useful tips - where to eat deliciously and inexpensively, where to stop for souvenirs. Walking with him turned out to be soulful, leisurely, filled with moments of enjoyment of the city and its atmosphere. On February 26, we went to the ski resort of Shahdag. The transfer was organized at the highest level: in the early morning tourists from different areas of Baku were collected and taken to the departure point by personal shuttles. Our guide was Saeed, a fun, charming tour guide who led the tour virtuoso in three languages at once. Unfortunately, it was not possible to get to the candy mountains of Khiza because of the blizzard, but we have more time in Shahdag. We took the chance and climbed the mountain peak in the resort by cable car - it is a must-visit point! The view from the cable car is fascinating: it seems as if you are soaring above the clouds, and the highest point of Azerbaijan is before you. The climb can be reached either by taxi or by a free bus that runs once an hour. Also recommend trying roller coasters - great entertainment with stunning views and unforgettable emotions when you control the speed of your car yourself :) On the way back to Baku, we were caught by heavy snowfall, but the driver was driving calmly and the ride was comfortable and safe. Plus we were brought straight to the hotel, which was very convenient. After this exciting journey, we could not stop and on February 28 we embarked on another excursion with the SmileTour – to Gobustan, to the mud volcanoes and to the valley of ancient petroglyphs. We had our good acquaintance Sayid with us again. The organizers met us and allowed us to join the already formed band literally 10 hours before the start of the tour. And the next morning we were already marvelling at the pristine beauty of Gobustan, a place where time was frozen. Huge thanks to the entire SmileTour team for the warm welcome, flawless organization and unforgettable emotions! Thanks to you we have fallen in love with incredible Azerbaijan and look forward to the summer to return and discover even more wonders of this amazing country. Definitely worth it! :) - The tour went really well and instructions prior to the tour were sent out clearly! The organizers I spoke with have shown flexibility in terms of my concerns and requests. Huge thanks to our tour guide, Said, he's approachable and knowledgeable. I couldn't ask for a better guide to be honest. He also takes nice photos which is a big plus for a solo traveler like me. All of the people I came with were all friendly as well. I highly recommend this tour to those who want to experience Azerbaijan! P.S. The rollercoaster ride and cable car are a must do in Shahdag Mountain resort!

Not Good Experience - I made Shahdag tour on first April 2025 . From the beginning evering was ok. But When we came to Baku we had to spend 1 hour for dropping tourist off . We were very tired but guide made us wait in the bus . First they must drop us near Double gates. I Checked on google map we were very close to double gates but then guide took us to white city and another location .so we had to wait in the traffic jam 1 hour. And driver was smoking we couldnot breathe . All group were complaining . But guide told its up to my manacer. Manacer called me He was very rude. So I couldnot speak to him .
