This exceptional day trip will take you into the rarely explored Tirana Valleys, where you’ll enjoy a meal in a small village that lacks paved roads to the capital. The sole road is quite rugged, with the 10km journey taking an hour to ascend and 45 minutes to descend. Transportation is provided by the village minibus, a 1980s Mercedes driven by the local bus driver, Beni.

Upon arrival in the village, there is an opportunity for a brief walk to admire the stunning views before settling down for lunch at the village café, which features a small garden if the weather permits. Please note, this is not a formal restaurant—the café owner’s mother prepares the food in the morning using local ingredients, and the amenities are quite basic!

During the summer, draught beer is typically available, along with raki. If you prefer wine, please inform us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements!
