Private car charter - Convenient for exploring Bali with a private car charter. The driver was not fluent in English but it was not a problem.

Agus is an excellent driver and has immense knowledge of Balinese culture and history. Besides the well known beauty spots, he showed us many less toeristisch authentic interesting locations. His friendly helpful personality enhanced my amazing experience on Bali.

Excellent driver, would recommend - Rio was a brilliant driver, and we went with him for 2 trips. He was friendly, helpful and prompt. He kept us informed about the trip, offering advice and assistance when needed. I would recommend Rio for any trips in Bali

so few things to see in Bali - I had a whole day booked with Santhiarka Wayan to see the west side of Bali I told him in advance that I had seen most of the east side and wanted to see the north and west side of the island. He advised there was nothing to see but beaches. I provided him with a list of 15 things from a DK eyewitness travel book. This was to be the perfect full day in Bali as I left the cruise ship at 9 am had 10 hours plus planned and my flight was at 1145 PM We visited two places on my list Tanah lot and Pura Taman Ayun . If I could have rated him at that point it would have been a 5. He then explained that everything on my list was to far it was 1215 PM He then took me to Dang Kahyangan Jagat which was fine. we were done at 130 to 145 PM when he ran out of ideas of places to visit on the island of Bali. Everytime I asked he said it was to far. we drove around to various places for 2 hours after I questioned him he said he knew no other places that were open and within the driving time of 6 hours round trip rather I questioned him and said I could revisit the places I already saw if there was nothing else but he said again they were far away, crowded and not worth it. I had him drop me off at the airport at 430 PM 7 plus hours before my flight. I had to sit in the airport for almost 5 hours before the airline agents showed up to allow access. He maybe very good at traditional places on the east side of the island, but I question that as I was willing to repeat rather than sit in an airport. He is a very nice person and a good driver but I will never book this service again. My previous experience I gave my driver a list he marked each item as 1 2 or 3 and advised I could do 1 2 or 3 but not all 3 . I needed to pick and we left. Best experience ever as opposed to this one. I recommend paying up for more knowledgeable people. I did advise Viator in advance I want to see the North and west and they advise the driver will take you wherever you want. Not true
