  • Arrive at the Aquasail Lounge, situated within the Grand Hyatt Goa, Bambolim. This location is conveniently positioned between North and South, making it accessible no matter where you are staying. Plan your course over 2 days or 3 half days, depending on availability and convenience.
  • Enjoy lunch at the Grand Hyatt as part of the course.
  • Receive an orientation and safety briefing from experienced instructors.
  • Get hands-on experience with dinghy sailing fundamentals, including boat handling, steering, sail control, balance, and points of sail. Theory is integrated into the learning process.
  • Safety, seamanship, and theoretical knowledge are integral parts of the course, with workbooks provided.
  • Earn a certificate from the Aquasail Yachting Academy.
  • Learn to rig, sail, maneuver, and recover the boat with confidence.
  • Benefit from continuous instructor feedback and guided learning to build confidence and competence.
  • The course concludes with participants being able to sail independently and confidently under specified conditions.

The Learn to Dinghy Sail (Adults) program offers a certified, skill-based sailing certificate course tailored for adults eager to master sailing and fulfill a lifelong dream. The exciting part is that learning is accessible at any age, starting from 7 years old (with a kids’ course in a smaller, suitable boat) to adults of any age. Exclusively held in Goa, this course provides a structured, confidence-boosting introduction to the essentials of dinghy sailing, enabling participants to sail independently in just 2 days!
Sailing is a lifelong skill that can be started at any age and enjoyed throughout life. Whether you’re a complete beginner or seeking to solidify your sailing foundation, this program empowers you to become independent, confident, and skilled on the water—all within a supportive, professional, and safety-focused environment. • You get access to our world class Sailing Centre located inside a premium 5 star property with locker and shower facility. Our boats are among the best brands in the worlds .Safety is our Key focus area and we are proud of our customer focus and our hospitality.
• Please wear clothes that are easy to sail in (light cloths that can protect you from the sun and can quickly dry - surf wear would be ideal ) Avoid tight and uncomfortable clothing. A cap and sunglasses are recommended. Please bring:
• A change of clothes (1 or 2 sets) including undergarments as you may get wet.
• Footwear that you can get wet in as you will have to step into the water with your footwear on. Ideal footwear is comfortable with a good grip (ex: crocs, floaters, open sandals with straps). Please do not wear high heels.
• Your personal medication, if you need it
• Extra sunscreen, should you have a preferred brand
• Minimum age is 2 years
