Namobuddha was a highlight of our time in Kathmandu. - Nil was an outstanding guide. He is very knowledgeable and informative — he is working as a guide while completing his PhD. He is professional but also quite friendly and conversational.
NamoBuddha was a wonderful experience. The setting and the temple itself were absolutely beautiful. But the highlight was sitting in the temple through morning rituals with all of the young monk trainees down to age five or six. It was very peaceful and meditative. Then later we loved seeing the kids running and playing and just being kids. Highly recommend visiting NamoBuddha — especially with Nil as your guide!

Don't miss this trek! - This trek/hike is not one you want to miss. From beginning to end, it was a wonderful experience. We started with hotel pickup and were driven to Dhulikhel where we hiked up 1,000 steps to the temple. The temple was interesting to see but the view surrounding it was especially beautiful. From there we hiked for a couple of hours to Namo Buddha. The hike itself was amazing as we got to walk through small villages and take in stunning views of the mountains and terraced hillsides. Through it all, Kumar was a fantastic guide - he was friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed every moment. The Namo Buddha monastery was impressive with ornate buildings, rich history, and incredible surrounding views even with the haze. We concluded the day with a yummy bite to eat at the cafe located at the monastery before our drive back. Given how much we enjoyed our experience with most of the mountains being hidden by the haze, I can only imagine how much more we would enjoy it on a clear day! This trek is a must-do on your trip in Nepal!

Wonderful hike - I booked a tour from Dhulikhel to Namobuddha day hike. I was the only person who sign for this tour. Thry informed me a day before that it is not include hike but they organised in the same price which i was really glad. Prakash was my guide. He came with his daugther. He is helpful, friendly and made my day comfortable. We have been couple of monestry, he explained the details about culture and history about those places and also about some plants on our way to the top. It was wonderful hike with gorgeous scenery of Himalayas. Don't hesitate to book with this folk🙏😊

Blessing along the way to Namo Buddha Monastery. - We hiked up the 1000 steps and further hiked to the nano Buddha monastery. What a beautiful hike through the farming villages. Pritip was a great guide, well informed, professional and kind. We would recommend this tour for anyone who has a day free in Kathmandu.

Made the best of the rainy weather - Pratip was a wonderful guide and came with a great attitude considering when we woke up the morning of our tour there was some heavy rain. The rain unfortunately lasted throughout the day so no distant views for us, but even the glimpses of the steep hillsides between the mist and clouds were lovely. He continued to check in with us to make sure we were walking slowly and safely, and that we were doing okay. We did the thousand steps to the first temple, then a 30 minute walk downhill through a small agricultural village. We opted not to do the longer hike due to the rain and drove the rest of the way to Namobuddha but I'm sure the hike is beautiful when the weather is good. A great way to spend part of the day outside Kathmandu when the traffic and busy streets get to feel a bit much. Fantastic driving by the driver also. Overall an enjoyable experience and would recommend (especially if you're blessed with good weather).

Highly recommended! - I had a wonderful time on this excursion! The tour pickup and drop off were both on time, which was very important to me as I had a flight to catch later in the day. My guide, Raj, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and great company. The views were amazing and it was very nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu and enjoy the peaceful nature. And of course, the Namobuddha monastery is an absolute must-see while in Kathmandu.
