• Bangalow - This tour, led by Delta Kay, guides visitors along the picturesque Byron Creek, situated within the Bangalow Parklands. Previously used for grazing, this area has been beautifully restored by the Anglican Church in collaboration with the Bangalow Land and Rivercare Group, featuring hundreds of native plant species significant to the Bundjalung people.

Throughout the tour, Delta highlights various edible bush tucker plants, along with those used for natural medicine, jewelry, fiber, tools, and weapons. She shares insights into local Indigenous history and recounts traditional stories passed down from her ancestors.

Participants have the chance to learn some Bundjalung language, and occasionally, they might spot Binging the river turtle or Junbung the platypus.

At the conclusion of each tour, guests are treated to a tasting of delicious bush tucker foods, accompanied by a delightful cup of bush tea and a biscuit.
