Wat Suthat: A must-see destination, home to Brahmin priests who play a role in royal rituals and ceremonies. The Giant Chinese Red Frame swing is a symbol of Bangkok, often featured in tourism presentations. Historically, it was the centerpiece of an annual ceremony where young men attempted to swing high enough to grab a sack of gold from a pole 75 feet (25 meters) in the air. Due to numerous fatalities, the ceremony was banned in the 1930s.

• The Golden Mount (Wat Saket) - Known as “Phu Khao Thong” or the Golden Mount, this site features a gleaming gold chedi atop a low hill. Built during the Ayutthaya period (1350-1767 AD), visitors climb 300 steps to reach the summit, where they are greeted by a wall of bells and stunning views of historic Bangkok.

• Wat Ratchanatdaram Woravihara (Loha Prasat) - Also known as Loha Prasat, meaning iron castle or iron monastery, it boasts 37 black metal spires representing the 37 virtues needed for enlightenment. Unique in the world, as similar structures in India and Sri Lanka no longer exist, it is under consideration for UNESCO World Heritage status.

• Chinatown - Bangkok - The tour also includes visits to Chinatown, India Town, and the Flower Market.
