The image hall (wihan) houses a unique reclining Buddha Image carved from granite, approximately 2 meters long. Interestingly, while most reclining Buddha images lie on one side, the Buddha image here lies supine (in Thai, “Non”), giving the temple its name.

Phra Phutthanawatmongkhon is depicted seated under a Naga, a mythical serpent, whose hood covers and protects the Buddha.
