• Mount Batur - Embark on a tour to witness the stunning views from the Mt. Batur volcano as the sun rises over the horizon.

Between 2 to 3 am, private transportation will be arranged from your hotel to the hiking starting point at the base of Mt. Batur, with an expected arrival around 3:45 am. Upon arrival, you will meet your local hiking guide, who will go over all safety procedures. You will then begin your thrilling ascent to the top of the volcano crater, aiming to reach the summit by 6 am. Enjoy the breathtaking sunrise as you explore the crater’s rim. A light breakfast is provided at the summit. The descent begins around 7:30 am, with an expected return to your vehicle by 9 am. On the way back to your hotel, there is an option to visit a Balinese coffee and spice plantation.

The eruption of most significant damage took place from August 2 to September 21, 1926, wherein lava enveloped Batur Village as well as the Ulun Danu Batur Temple. Standing tall at 1717mdpl, Mount Batur endured a massive eruption that led to a significant part of its body collapsing, thereby forming a vast caldera.
