Because the sunrise comes around 06.00 in the morning. After the sunrise is over we will go back down to the starting point of hiking. it took about 3 and a half hours. And we will finish our trip at 7.30 am. So we just took a trip around the mountain. - Toya Devasya Hot Spring - Toya devasya hot spring is a bathing place with natural hot springs. After you finish enjoying the sunrise at the top of Mount Batur, at 7.30 in the morning you can also add to your trip to enjoy the Toya devasya hot spring which is located around Mount Batur. Takes about 40 minutes. and we return to the pick-up point to finish this experience at 9.30.
If you choose to take a shower, don’t forget to bring toiletries/swimsuits.

If you don't do anything else in Bali - make sure you do this! - Cannot recommend this experience ever! Kudos to the lads for making it the best hike our lives. Breathtaking views combined with an incredible guide and fantastic driver!

Mount Batur Walking Review - Was such an awesome trip - Picked up on time, great breakfast and additional coffee tour we didn’t know about! Both driver and guide were lovely and let us play music :) Gading (driver guide) and Arnawa (walking guide) Even though it was a little cloudy was still beautiful.

A must-try experience - A Rewarding First Trekking Experience at Mt. Batur
This was my first mountain trek, and overall, it was a memorable and rewarding experience.
We began our ascent at around 4am, and it took roughly 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the summit—just in time for sunrise. Anyone with a reasonable level of fitness should be able to manage the trek comfortably. For those unsure, there’s also an option to take a jeep up to the halfway point and complete the remaining journey on foot.
The trek itself was part of the adventure, and reaching the summit just as the sun began to rise was nothing short of breathtaking. The panoramic view from the top was absolutely worth the early wake-up call.
I booked the experience through KLOOK, and the entire process was smooth and well-organised—from hotel pickup to the assignment of a personal guide. If you book via KLOOK, I highly recommend asking for Ms. Wayan. She was warm, attentive, and full of helpful tips—not to mention an expert at taking those Insta-worthy photos! The breakfast she served was simple yet nourishing, just what we needed after the climb.
Mt. Batur is an excellent choice for beginners, and it’s likely to spark a desire to take on more trekking adventures in the future.
Go for it—you won’t regret it!

5 stars - 5 star experience with Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking the booking was seamless and easy with everything taken care of, my amazing driver Santi picked me up and drove me to the mount giving me time to rest before the trek. She was an excellent driver and drove in a safe and timely manner. My guide on the mount was also amazing and made the trek very fun! Thanks so much for a delicious breakfast and coffee. Thank you to the whole team at Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking for a great day!

Breathtaking Sunrise Experience - Awesome experience with a talented, prompt, and polite guide in Joe and his team. Hotel pickup (albeit very early in the morning!) couldn’t have been easier.
Truly one of the most breathtaking views we’ve ever seen as the sun broke through the clouds!
Would absolutely recommend!

Great guide - Did the mount Batur sunrise trek and I'm so happy I did! It was well organized, the driver was very punctual when he came to pick me up, and was very good. Arrived at the start point and met my guide. I was the only person, and I'm very grateful they were able to accommodate the tour even though I was the only one. The guide was very kind, we had a good pace up to the top. We were 1.5 hours early for the sunrise so just sat there, I got a nice brekkie of fruit an egg sandwich and a hot chocolate. Went to see the crater and played with the vapor for a bit. It was absolutely beautiful, I was in awe! It was a bit cloudy so the sunrise was covered for the most part, yet it was still magical. Guide was also a great photographer and very attentive. Definitely recommend you to go if you the chance!

Awesome 😎 - August and Pur were very helpful with me since the beginning of the journey. They are very nice and kind, they were making sure all the time that I was okay both took me a lot of wonderful photos. I recommend them a lot.

You don't want to miss the Mount Batur Trek. - The Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking is a MUST-DO while you are in Ubud. Our driver, Kecong, was punctual with picking us up, showed us around and even took us on a little coffee/tea tasting sesh!
