- From 01:30 to 03:00 am: We will pick you up from your accommodation in Bali
- At 03:45 am: We reach the starting point and our experienced hiking guides will give an overview and safety…
Join us for a memorable journey to the summit of Mount Batur in Bali, where you can witness a magnificent sunrise from the peak of an active volcano.
Here is the plan:
- From 01:30 to 03:00 am: We will pick you up from your accommodation in Bali
- At 03:45 am: We reach the starting point and our experienced hiking guides will give an overview and safety briefing
- At 04.09 am: Our guide will lead you in a 90-minute trek to reach the summit just in time for the sunrise
- At 06:00 am: Enjoy a warm cup of tea or coffee served by our guide as you marvel at the breathtaking sunrise
- At 07:00 am: From the summit, you can choose to head straight to the car park OR take a tour with our guide around the rim to explore the second crater (erupted in 1926), the third crater (erupted in 1963), and the newest crater (erupted in 1974 and 1994)
- At 09:00 am: We will reach back at the base
- At 09:20 am: Indulge in a breakfast at a restaurant overlooking the lake and Mount Batur
- Between 11:00 am and 01:00 pm: Expected time of return to your hotel
- Children 4-years and under are free with accompanied of an adult

Amazing! - I cannot recommend this company highly enough! From start to finish, the service was outstanding and truly exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide, Wayan Budiawan, was absolutely brilliant, he brought so much warmth, knowledge, and energy to our experience. Not only did he take stunning photos for us, but he also made every moment feel special and personalised. His genuine kindness, professionalism, and deep understanding of the local culture made a huge impact on our trip. We learned so much from him and had such a great time.
We were also fortunate to have Putu Anton as our private driver. He was incredibly courteous, punctual, and attentive to our needs. From providing water and helping with logistics to offering great local tips, he made sure we were always comfortable and well taken care of. Both Wayan and Putu went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable, and we’re truly grateful for their hospitality.

A human experience - We took our excursion from Mount Batur with Wayan. We had an amazing and very rewarding time. Wayan is a great guide to this climb, he takes the time with us. As he told us no matter how long it takes, it is to do it safely! There's nothing more reassuring. Wayan is an amazing person. We made the ascent as a couple, accessible for experienced and beginners (at his own pace) but it is still physical. Thanks again to Wayan for our breakfast, he gave us the plaids at the top, a breakfast. A real human experience with respect! With a little history on Mount Batur.

Great experience! - The climb up mt Batur was unforgettable, and me and my boyfriend would recommend it to anyone.
Unbelievable scenery, and the most attentive and knowledgeable guide JRO. He even boiled us some eggs at the top using the steam coming from the volcano which we loved! JRO is a great guide and the climb is one worth doing.

Amazing hike and fantastic guide. - Wayan Budiawan was an amazing guide! The entire experience start to finish was extremely well organized and easy. Hike was a great workout, and the spectacular views at the top were like nothing I’ve ever seen.

Expert guide & great photographer Jro! - Had a great Mount Batur Sunrise trek experience with Jro who was an expert on the paths to the top - he took us from select paths that were easy to navigate at the same time challenging enough to keep up the adrenaline!
He also got us a select spot at top for the best sunrise view & took us to various other spots right on time before the crowd got it.. that was super decision on his end.
And the best part is he's an awesome photographer!

A special sunrise experience! - Ijro was very informative throughout our walk up Mount Batur! He ensured we understood everything we needed to know and his English was good. We were looked after very well and he regularly offered to take photos throughout our walk! The views and eggs cooked in the volcanic steam (!) at the top were amazing!

Wonderful Morning Trek of Mount Batur - Wonderful Sunrise Trek! Could not recommend this company enough - a must do if in Bali! Arya picked us up from our hotel and we met Jro to lead us up the mountain. Both guides took great care of us and made sure we made it up and down the mountain safely. Followed by a complimentary breakfast with a gorgeous view of Mount Batur. Thank you so much Arya and Jro.

Amazing experience hiking Mount batur - Wow this was an amazing experience! The hike was hard but the sunrise was so beautiful it was all worth it :) Thank you so much to our amazing guide Wayan Budiawan who was kind, patient with our hiking pace and funny and gave us lots of information and tips. He bought us head torches and walking poles which made the hike much more doable and also a breakfast plate with tea and even a blanket for at the summit when we were getting a bit cold! Wayan went above and beyond to meet all of our needs and make sure that the experience was perfect. We also had a great driver Mangmus who was prompt to pick us up and was very professional and friendly. Overall an incredible morning - we are so glad we did this hike and booked with this company!

100% on point - Pickup on time. Driver was safe and good. Guide was excellent and adjusted speed and pace as needed. Excellent organization and smooth. This is an absolute gem of a sunrise tour.
