Great tour with Super Guide Maanwiss - Our guide Maanwiss was outstanding. He adapted to our pace and was always available for assistance when needed. He was also very friendly and took great photos of us at sunrise.

Step by step - Wonderful experience with a careful and scrupulous guide. Relaxing at the spa after the walk is a great choice ... but above all the walk is worth the effort. Incredible panorama and volcanic energy

To do at least once in a lifetime - Almost mystical experience... in the true sense of the word as I saw St. Peter with the set of keys ready to receive me... there on top of the volcano. Beautiful to do it at night... with torches... between woods and old lava flows you get to the top where the guide, who led us excellently throughout the journey, also takes care to serve you breakfast while waiting for the first light of dawn. Very helpful also for photos, we keep a great memory for everything.

Wonderful experience - We had a great experience with the Mount Batur sunrise hike. We got picked up at our hotel in Kintamani precisely at the arranged time. I did have to call the company and verify the pick up time, but they were very responsive and picked up the phone right away. Our tour guide was Kuas (great guy!!!). We got a hiking stick, a forehead flashlight, and started up the mountain. You definitely need a decent amount of physical fitness to get up the mountain. Wear proper shoes. Some parts are easier than others, but I would say just about anyone can do it. It was a fantastic hike up to the mountain. Once there, our tour guide took great care of us and offered us blankets, coffee, or tea, a banana sandwich, and we even cooked an egg using volcano steam. That was definitely special. We then waited for the sun after which we slowly started to go back down the mountain. The descent was rather steep and a bit slippery so be mindful of that. But the whole thing was just absolutely fun. Got picked up again and driven home altogether. It was about a six hour experience, because we did not do the hot springs. For people that are sensitive to motion sickness in a car, prepare a bit because on the way back, my girlfriend and I experienced some of it due to the steep and very curvy roads that lead out of the area. Just food for thought. Certainly recommend the company for one of these hikes . Cheers

Batur Sunrise with Maanwiss as our guide was amazing. Absolutely perfect. - We did the Batur sunrise hike with Maanwiss as our guide. He was great, wonderful with our two young children, who at 8 and 10 years old struggled a little at points on the climb. Nothing too much trouble, breakfast delivered at the top and loads of time taken to get us some great photos. If you get the chance, do it!

Mt Batur Hike with the legend Kuas - The hike up was amazing and our guide Kuas was incredibly friendly and helpful. A once in a lifetime type of trip with a breakfast I will most likely never eat again; hard boiled eggs cooked in volcanic steam! Once we had finished the hike with Kuas we went to the hotsprings and they were also fantastic. The views are unparalleled and I can't recommend it enough. Definitely worth the early rise.

Our trekking guide was... - Our trekking guide was wonderful—so patient and kind! I wish I could remember his name. I had a tough time going downhill while my friend struggled a bit on the climb, but he supported us every step of the way. For anyone planning this trek, I’d recommend wearing layers, using strong bug spray, and definitely bringing hiking boots—the trail has some steep parts. Also, use the bathroom before you start! Overall, it was an amazing experience. I would not recommend the hot springs though—they felt like a tourist trap and weren’t very clean.
