A safari to remember - Our guide, Babou Carr, is a legend in the Gambia safari world. It's a long day out to see the animals, but Babou made the day fun and enjoyable and I couldn't recommend a better person to take you on an adventure. In the park itself you can see rhino, zebra, antelope, giraffe and more. Would 100% recommend this tour

Worth the travel - It is a long day, but definitely worth it. The whole trip gives you a look into Gambia and Senegal. Our guide and driver were there to help us always, and the drive around the park was a very nice experience. Very much enjoyed it all!

Walking with the Lions - It was one in a life time experience. The Lion walk was unbelievable. The guides were very helpful and welcoming. Our driver patiently drove round for a long time to find the giraffes and we were not disappointed. Baboucarr Jobe our tour guide from The Gambia was very patient and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Unique adventure - This was a fantastic day out. Our guide Jaria and her brother picked me up early from hotel and drove us to Banjul port for ferry embarkation. Then we took 4x4 drive to reach park in Senegal . Then we had a guide from park to go around with very knowledgeable guy. Going around the park he pointed out everything for us . Then we continued through the park taking loads of photos of all the animal and specially Lion encountered. It all made for an unforgettable day. Highly recommended.

Fathala Safari - Amazing experience. You get picked up from the tour guide and drive to Banjul to catch the ferry. This journey is amazing. Everything is on the ferry people, goats, trucks, etc. The immigration bit can be timely, but you get to see Senegal in that short time. Please make sure you purchase books, pens, and sweets to give to the beautiful children. Fathala itself is lovely. You get to see giraffes, Kevin the rhino, antelope, zebras, and the option to do the Lion walk (D3000) - which I would HIGHLY recommend, the experience is phenomenol. The tour guide Babou Carr was excellent. After the amazing sights, we stopped for some lunch before heading back for the ferry and even spotted dolphins.

Lovely experience! - What a beautiful experience! We had a super nice guide who was neat on time and arranged everything. The ferry crossing is pleasantly busy and you look forward to the onward journey to Senegal. We've been able to see all the animals. In Banjul we enjoyed a delicious lunch.

Do it. - Wear a jumper on the ferry and take some pencils/writing books and sugar free sweets for the kids on the journey. Baboucarr is a chilled out friendly fella who made it a great experience, our 4x4 driver, forgotten his name sorry, was also great and got us through the border crossings smoothly.

A sightseeing tour through the authentic life by car and boat in Gambia. - That was a lot of money for just 1 h Safari. The safari itself was not so unique. Saw all the animals that were there but they say I was really lucky. But the trip from Banjul and by ”freight boat” over to the other side of Gambia + drive towards Senegal border was cool experience in itself. Seeing the authentic life. However, my tip is to find a private guide directly on site. There are a lot of idle people who can make the trip, just ask the hotel. You do not need to go through in this case TripAdvisor. There is a huge difference in money.

Best to buy ticket from hotel saves £80 off - An experience of a lifetime. We paid our hotel rep £90 for transport and entry into Safari park. Make sure bring yellow fever card and passport as its needed at the border in and out. Wear used clothes as it a very dusty experience. Make sure hold onto your bags at the port as hundreds of people will be on the boat and getting on and off ferry.
