Upon reaching Barra, I was greeted by the sight of our tour Jeep, a sturdy vehicle that would be our chariot into the heart of the African wilderness. The drive to the Gambia-Senegal border was a seamless transition, thanks to the meticulous arrangements made by our guide, TJ. His expertise and local knowledge were invaluable, ensuring that our passage through the border was smooth and hassle-free.
