The route follows the old path that existed before the tunnels, now serving as a cycle path.
- Cascada el Manto de la Novia - Arriving in Rio Blanco, you will discover various adventure activities such as the glass bridge, the Tibetan bridge, bridge jumping, the zip line, and the prisoner ball (these activities are optional; prices range from $10 to $25 depending on the activity; cash is preferred). Third stop: Manto de la Novia Waterfall (15 km from Baños).
There is a cable car to Manto de la Novia, with the option of crossing by cable car (air basket) or walking to the viewpoint (the cable car costs $2; cash preferred).
- CASCADA EL PAILON - The journey continues to Devil’s Pailon Island. Fourth stop: Pailón del Diablo Waterfall (17 km from Baños).
Upon reaching Rio Verde, there are several parking options; the entrance fee is $1 USD.
At the entrance to the Pailón del Diablo waterfall, there are two trails: the long trail, which takes an hour round trip, or the short trail, which takes 30 minutes.
The long trail offers a view of the waterfall from above. The cost for both tickets to Pailón del Diablo is $3 USD for daytime admission and $3 USD for nighttime admission to Pailón Nocturne.
The long ticket is priced at $5 USD and the short ticket at $4 USD.
- La Casa del Arbol - Scenic ascent via the Runtun route (approximately 0–8 km)
The route to La Casa del Arbol in Baños, Ecuador, provides a viewpoint with breathtaking views of the majestic Tungurahua Volcano. It is a popular tourist destination.
