Whether you’re new to this sport or simply seeking an exhilarating and memorable experience, tandem flights provide breathtaking views of Ecuador’s landscapes from above. No prior experience is required, making tandem flights accessible to everyone. You’ll enjoy this newfound sense of freedom with the assurance of a qualified pilot-instructor in control. The meeting is at the designated time, followed by a 30-minute car ride to the flying zone at Niton Hill near Pelileo Town. Upon arrival, the pilot will outline the program, provide a safety briefing, and explain the sport’s techniques. If weather conditions permit, you’ll witness some of the most stunning views of the Andes, including the Tungurahua Volcano. You’ll return to Baños around 6:00 pm. If weather conditions prevent flying, you’ll receive a refund, minus the transportation fee as specified under exclusions.

- Return transportation to Baños, with an estimated arrival time of 6 PM.

All paragliding equipment undergoes regular checks to ensure your safety and comfort.
- Please note that perfect weather conditions are required for this activity. If these conditions are not met, the activity may be canceled at the last moment.

Views - I came to Ecuador on a family trip from New York and decided to try the Paragliding Tandem Tour in Baños, even though I had never done anything like that before. It ended up being one of the best experiences of the whole trip. The views from the air were incredible—you can see the mountains, the town, and the surrounding landscape all at once. Our pilot was funny, engaging, attentive, and really made me feel safe the entire time. If you’re visiting Baños and want something exciting with amazing views, I definitely recommend this experience.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! - This was his first time hand gliding and my third time hand gliding, and we both had an amazing experience. You’re transported to the flying site and once you get there, you have nothing to worry about at all. The guides are very knowledgeable and also super helpful. They had a selfie stick for you to put your phone in and I was freezing cold and one of them even pulled out a coat from their bag to give it to me. They make sure you understand the safety measures and the instructions so you feel comfortable before and during the flight. The flight lasted about 15 to 20 minutes, which was more than enough time to overlook the beautiful view of Baños & beyond. I had an amazing time, and my brother has an amazing time. Whether you’re a beginner or expert, this is definitely a tour you’re gonna want to do in Banos.

The best view in all of Ecuador! - I am so glad I booked this experience with Migel and Ariel! I had an incredible time with them. There was another woman on the tour with me and she went first. We were told exactly what to do during take off and landing and everything went smoothly. When it was my turn to go, Migel was watching the wind like a bird. We were all strapped in waiting for about 3 minutes before Migel said “let’s try again in a few minutes”. Apparently the wind was too strong but my untrained senses couldn’t detect any difference. I happily waited for safer conditions and when the wind calmed, we went up and soared with the birds for about 15 magical moments. I felt so safe with them. It was truly an incredible experience.

Best view seeing Ecuador from the sky. - Great experience with Santiago and the entire crew. Incredible views and super professional guide. Pickup was on time, we drove about 45 minutes out of town to the jump site. There we discussed safety measurements and prepped for the jump. Spent 20 +/- minutes flying above the hills. Bring warm clothes as it can get very cold up in the air.

Wonderful activity - Excellent trip! Well organised and on time. The guides put you at ease, tell you exactly what you need to do and make you feel comfortable whilst up the air. They are clearly experts in their sport and Santiago was a fantastic guide. Would highly recommend this activity!

You won’t regret it! - Where can I start! Santi and his partner were the best! It was something I’ll never forget! The way they talk to you with calmness makes you forget you’re about to be in the air! My friend couldn’t fly, but they made sure to reschedule us!

Fly like a bird near volcano Tungurahua! - We had great time flying with Santiago. Santiago is a very experienced guide with a lot of knowledge. we felt very safe, and had a great time, we highly recommend!
