Incredible - If you are looking for a volcano guide, then stop and just choose Qim Qim. You have already found a guide by going to this page. He deserves 500 stars out of 5. I haven't seen a better guide. We were the first ones to go down into the volcano and went to watch the sunrise, it was magnificent.

HAKUNA MATATA all the way!!! - The tour was one of a kind. The team of guides were the best. Qim-Qim, Ron-Ron & Malik were very good. They made sure each and everyone were taken care n completed the trek successfully. One of the best tour experiences in java islands.

One of my new favourite memories🙏 - I had such an incredible experience! First of all our guide (Qim Qim- the best guide ever) just made the experience so enjoyable!🫰 Not only did we feel extremely safe with his guidance but he’s also extremely knowledgable and SO much fun- kept the spirits high the whole time and had the most amazing energy❤️ Transport and the hike itself were all managed seamlessly and we were lucky to have amazing weather and to see the perfect view of the crater and sunrise. Highly recommend to everyone- amazing memories made🫶

Amazing tour and even better guide - Ijen was beautiful, despite not seeing the blue fire it was 100% worth it. The sunrise at the summit was out of this world. Our guide Qim Qim was incredible. He is so friendly and knowledgeable, he made us all laugh and taught us a great deal about Ijen. Hike up to the summit was short (approx 1 hour) and relaxed as you can go at your own pace. At the end of the tour Qim Qim helped us plan the rest of our journey through Java.

100% worth it!!! - the tour with qim qim and kiki was such an amazing experience. everything was so easy to arrange and qim qim is the most energetic, enthusiastic and honest guide you‘ll ever get. from the very first moment it was like meeting an old friend who happens to take you to a volcano and know every little bit about it - we really had an extraordinary night thanks to those guys!!

No blue fire - There is a lack of honesty in the advertisement of these tours. Please not there is very little chance of seeing the blue fire anymore. Tourists no longer go down to the edge of the crater and therefore unless there are very high winds, you will not see anything. This means you will have a tough hike in the middle of the night for no blue fire. Yes, you will see the sunrise over the ijen lake but personally I would much rather do this in the day when crowds are less and I have slept.
