DAY ONE – MOSHI – MACHAME CAMP
Machame Camp - Guests will be collected from their Moshi accommodations and driven to Kilimanjaro National Park.

Hiking for 5-6 hours through this ancient forest, participants will enjoy a mini safari, spotting wildlife such as black and white colobus monkeys along the route.
The day concludes at Machame Camp (3,000 meters), where porters will have tents set up, hot water ready for bathing, and meals prepared to rejuvenate for the next day’s adventure.
DAY TWO – MACHAME CAMP – SHIRA CAMP
Shira Camp - An early start today, but the hike is shorter. The dense forest transitions to scrubby moorland, offering a new hiking experience.
Arriving at Shira Camp by mid-afternoon allows time to relax and admire the breathtaking views of Kibo glacier from the Shira Plateau.
DAY THREE – SHIRA CAMP – LAVA TOWER – BARRANCO CAMP
Barranco Camp - The first objective today is the impressive Lava Tower (4,640m), setting off for this unique landmark right after breakfast.
After climbing 700m to the Lava Tower, the descent begins towards Barranco Camp at 4,500m.
The trek passes through various vegetation zones, and the day ends at the picturesque Barranco Camp, nestled in the shadow of the majestic Barranco Wall. Known as the most beautiful camp on Kilimanjaro, Barranco will be the base for the night.
DAY FOUR – BARRANCO CAMP – BARAFU CAMP
Barafu Camp - Today offers the first real taste of mountain climbing, as participants tackle Barranco Wall with some traditional rock climbing.
Following this challenge, the journey continues to the Karanga Valley for a lunch break.
Post-lunch, the trek resumes for another 2-3 hours until reaching Barafu Camp.
With the summit attempt tomorrow, it’s crucial to have a hearty meal and stay hydrated before resting for the night.
DAY FIVE – BARAFU CAMP – UHURU PEAK – MWEKA CAMP
Karanga Camp - The day begins early, just after midnight!
The climbing team will wake participants with hot tea and a light snack to energize as they prepare for the day’s adventure.
Hiking in complete darkness for 5-7 hours, a slow pace will lead to Stella Point a few hours before dawn. From there, another two hours of challenging hiking leads to the ultimate destination: Uhuru Peak.
At 5,985m, participants will witness a stunning sunrise and enjoy the panoramic views. Success!
After capturing photos and savoring the moment, the descent begins back to Barafu Camp for lunch and celebration.
After some rest, the journey continues down to Mweka Camp for the night.
DAY SIX – MWEKA CAMP – MOSHI
Moshi - A celebratory day begins with a final breakfast on the mountain before descending to the Mweka Gate.
Here, participants will celebrate with porters and guides, offer tips for their hard work, and receive a certificate of completion.
The driver will then transport them to their Moshi or Arusha hotel for some well-deserved rest.
