- St. John’s Parish Church - St. John’s Parish Church in Barbados is believed to have originally been a simple wooden structure, though its exact date is unknown. The parish, along with St. George, was established from St. Michael in 1640–1641. However, successive churches suffered severe damage from the hurricane of 1675, the Great Hurricane of 1780, and were ultimately destroyed by the 1831 Barbados–Louisiana hurricane. The current church building (the fifth) was constructed in 1836, with the chancel added in 1876.
- Bathsheba - Bathsheba serves as the primary fishing village in the parish of St. Joseph on Barbados’ east coast. As of 2012, the population stands at 1,521.
- Animal Flower Cave - This oceanfront cave features steps leading to it, with a coral floor, actinia, and natural pools.
- Speightstown - Speightstown is the second largest city in Barbados and a significant tourist destination. Founded in the 17th century, it was named in honor of William Speight, a member of Barbados’ first Assembly. For many years, it remained one of the island’s main ports.
- Bridgetown - Bridgetown, Barbados, offers an abundance of activities. Its center is so rich in historic architecture that it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2011. With a population of under 300,000, Bridgetown is both the only city and the central hub of activity on the island.
- Rihanna Drive Monument - Rihanna is the second woman and the 11th individual to be named a national hero of Barbados. This honor allows the singer to use the title “Right Honorable” before her name.
- Holetown - Featuring upscale hotels, a local marine park, and a scenic boardwalk, Holetown is an ideal spot for a peaceful retreat, offering beach relaxation, fine dining, or snorkeling, diving, and kayaking in crystal-clear waters.
- Cherry Tree Hill - The name “Cherry Tree Hill” is thought to have originated from the abundance of cherry trees that once grew there. Today, the road is lined with mahogany trees, introduced to Barbados after the Treaty of Paris in 1763.
- Morgan Lewis Windmill - Located in St. Andrew, Barbados, the Morgan Lewis Windmill is the largest and only fully operational sugar mill in the Caribbean. It ceased operations in 1947, and in 1962, its owner Egbert L. Bannister donated the mill to the National Trust of Barbados for preservation as a museum.
