A Hidden Gem for an Intimate and Authentic Sailing Experience in Barcelona - This was a true gem among Barcelona's sailing options! Instead of a crowded 1–2 hour trip with 60 people, we chose a semi-private tour — and it made all the difference. We enjoyed delicious tapas, had the chance to swim, and learned not only about sailing but also about the city itself. The entire experience felt relaxed, personal, and thoughtfully curated. A big thank-you to our host, Sasha, for welcoming us so warmly and taking such good care of our safety, comfort, and needs throughout the journey. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a more personalized and enriching sailing experience — plus, the boat departs and returns from a very central, convenient location.

Great time away from the hustle and bustle of the city! - Martin our skipper was awesome! Nice relaxing activity and getting some time to swim was amazing! The snack options were very nice too!

Just book it. - This tour made for the perfect evening on the Mediterranean Sea. We cruised for about two hours and then spent an hour swimming about in the water on floaters supplied by the wonderful Martin, our guide. Drinks were flowing the entire time. After, we were offered a great charcuterie type tapas meal and a cruise back with the setting sun and the illuminating lights of Barcelona. 10 out of 10. Would again. 100%

Beautiful Sunset Sail With First-Rate Crew - We booked this sunset sail because we had an evening free before leaving Barcelona - what a great decision! Absolutely loved the whole experience. Our skipper, Lucas, was top-notch; he was clearly a skilled captain who loves what he does, and he made sure that every person on our diverse group had an experience that fit their personality. (We booked as a couple celebrating our 35th anniversary; we sailed with a Canadian couple, a group of 3 from Russia/Switzerland, and 2 ladies from Portugal, and everyone was having a great time). This was our first opportunity to sail, and although most of the trip we used the motor, Lucas made the extra effort to ensure we had a chance to enjoy being “under sail” even though the wind wasn’t exactly strong… A couple minor things we learned: 1) The Water Bus was a great option to get to Marina Vela, but if you are on the sunset sail, you probably won’t make it back in time to catch the last boat back to Drassanes dock. (Not a huge issue, we just caught a cab back to our hotel) 2) It wasn’t super obvious where to go once you reach Marina Vela - the office for Alpha Zulu is in a building to the right after you walk into the marina - just look on Google for “Alpha Zulu” We would definitely book with AZ again given the chance!

Best Experience! - This was a last minute booking for us and it was one of the best experiences we had while in Barcelona! Lucas was a great captain, host and tour guide! Would definitely recommend them for a great way to see Barcelona!

Fantastic time on the Balearic! - Lucas was a fantastic captain. We had a lovely time on the water with our teenage daughter. We liked the intimate size of the tour (8 ppl plus the captain). The Cava was flowing and it was a gorgeous day on the water. There was a restroom and small shower to rinse off the salt water. Truly have zero complaints and highly recommend this tour!

Lazy Sunday at sea - Wonderful lazy afternoon sailing along the coast and beach. It was too breezy to swim off the boat, so we relaxed with snacks and drinks. Our captain was very personable, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The sunshade was up, and those wanting sun moved to the front of the boat. Don’t forget to take a seasick pill if you even think you will need it - better safe than sorry! A great relaxing afternoon.
