• Palace of Catalan Music - 7:00am. Meet the guide at the Explore Catalunya office, located directly across from the Palau de la Música. The guide will outline the day’s itinerary on a map, ensuring everyone knows the destinations.
• Montserrat - 8:00am - The journey begins with a drive past the stunning Montserrat scenery. This iconic mountain dramatically punctuates the skyline as the group heads towards France and Andorra.
• Baga - 8:45am - Arrive at this beautifully preserved medieval village at the entrance to the Pyrenees. Enjoy a guided walk through its cobbled streets and ancient square. There’s time for coffee and a pastry before continuing north through the Tunnel del Cadí into France.
• Ur - 10:25am Carrefour de UR, France (20–25 min). Visit a unique mountain supermarket featuring ski gondolas, a bear at the entrance, a piano, tractors, and some of the finest French produce outside Paris. The guide will have already highlighted what to look for. Time is limited — don’t miss the bus.
• Latour-de-Carol - 11:00am La Tour de Querol, France — (35 min). Explore a quiet French village with a fascinating history. This is Catalunya Nord — the part of Catalonia that became France in 1659 following the Treaty of the Pyrenees. The guide will bring its story to life.
• Pas de la Casa - 11:35am - Travel the mountain road, not the tunnel. Ascend to the highest paved road (2,408 meters) in the Pyrenees, where the views open up across the high alpine landscape before Andorra appears below. Cross the border into Andorra and seize the opportunity to get a unique Andorra Passport Stamp.
• Andorra la Vella - 1:00pm - Join the guide for a brief walking tour of the historic center. Enjoy two full hours to explore at your own pace — tax-free shopping, lunch, or simply wandering. Meet at 3:00pm sharp. This will be the last stop of the day, providing ample time for duty-free shopping, finding a quick bargain, or strolling through its old stone streets and houses.

Around 3:45pm, return to the bus and head back to Barcelona via a different route.

This drive takes you through dramatic gorges, past lush farmland, and alongside lakes and rivers, before the landscape flattens and the vibrant greens of the fields and the shining grey of the mountain rocks give way to the dusty orange and brown hues of the arid landscape.

There will be a stop en route to stretch your legs and quench your thirst, before arriving back in town around 7:30pm.
