We took an excellent somewhat shorter version of this tour - We didn’t do exactly this tour with Hana, but a somewhat smaller version of it. Hana took us through several markets, including the famous La Boqueria but also less touristy ones which caters more to local Barcelonians. In a local one (Sant or Santa something or the other, sorry I forgot the name) we bought some Iberian ham. Hana explained to us the differences in the many hams. In between the market visits, we stopped by Hana’s place where she showed us how to make “Spanish tortillas” (like a potato omelet). She also served us tastes of some common Catalan foods. We had such a good time that we booked one of Hana’s longer workshops on Moroccan cooking.

Very Interesting, Authentic, and Fun! - We loved seeing the different neighborhoods going to three food markets. Cooking in her home was authentic and a nice break and we prepared two local dishes by scratch. Hana was a lovely, gracious, and interesting host.
