Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter is especially enchanting at sunset and after dark. With fewer tourists around, the atmosphere becomes even more magical, making it feel as though you’ve traveled back in time to the Middle Ages.
We’ll visit a historic fountain, explore a Roman cemetery, and walk beneath the ancient city walls. At King’s Square, we’ll stroll through the narrow, romantic streets of the Jewish Quarter, following traces of destruction left by the Spanish Civil War. We’ll uncover stories of saints, martyrs, kings, queens, and medieval gargoyles.
Beyond the rich history, we’ll dive into fascinating legends of knights, princesses, and dragons.
To top it off, we’ll indulge in a warm hot chocolate at a traditional churros café in the winter or treat ourselves to irresistible ice cream during the summer!
