- Mosaicos Barcelona MOSAICCOS (Trencadís) - This mosaic workshop is designed for families with children. It offers a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time together while learning to create art using the renowned “trencadís” mosaic technique of Antoni Gaudí. Participants can choose from a variety of objects, such as a fish, cat, heart, butterfly, picture frame, and more. Children over 10 years old will work with ceramic tiles, while those under 10 will use pre-cut acrylic mosaic tiles.
⚠️ After the workshop, the staff will grout your artwork, which can be collected either later that afternoon or the following day.

My goal was to provide family-friendly activities, which were scarce for children. This prompted me to orchestrate an amusing & imaginative event for the entire family (> 3 years), where they could indulge in the creation of mosaic arts, following Gaudí’s mosaic methodology - ‘trencadís’. You’ll be guided on how to use the resources, select your foundation and colors, and fabricate your premier mosaic masterpiece. There are various objects you can pick from, such as photo frames, boxes, and animal figures. Embark on this adventure with your kids; they’ll always remember who Gaudí was! This set-up is designed for a family consisting of 2 adults and 2 children.
Accolades & citations
In 2016, I received recognition for exceptional work with a master artisan diploma for significant contributions towards the Art ‘Trencadïs’. This was granted to me by the President of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
In 2019, I collaborated with Casa Batlló under the aegis of the UNESCO World Heritage Volunteers project titled ‘The Restoration of Casa Batlló, from inside to beyond its walls.
