Beautiful day trip! - Thank you, Tim and Ola, for a wonderful day trip! I'm posting here to help boost your Viator rating to a well-deserved 5 stars. Your jokes were funny, your stories interesting, the bus was clean, and the kayaking excursion was so much fun! Everything was very well organized and thoughtfully planned. Thanks a lot!

An experience to brag about when you go home - We opted for this experience to get away from the busy streets of Barcelona. Let me tell you…this blew away all my expectations and raised the bar of what a beach experience must be! We’ve never kayaked before, but Tim was an excellent teacher and very patient with the entire group. And once we got into the water his partner Nico ensured we were all safe and stuck together. The cliff jumping took this experience to a whole new level! Never ever did I think we’d actually cliff jump in Spain…bucket list checked! And the snorkeling part was awesome with all the fish and the octopus sighting made it extra awesome! The water was really clear that you didn’t really need a mask.

Wonderful Vibes - Highlight of our trip - What a wonderful day trip with truly amazing people! The playlists Ola played on the way to and from Costa Brava were pure vibes and set the tone of the trip. We had the pleasure of Luke being our tour guide once we arrived at the beach, and he shared stories and laughter with us as we explored the water on kayaks. You can tell a lot of care goes into ensuring their guests have a memorable experience. Hoping you get a chance to snowboard on the slopes of Whistler, B.C. soon, Luke! Muchas Gracias

Lovely, Stress-free day! - We had a lovely day with our attentive guide, Ola. He is so calm and personable and went out of his way to make the day enjoyable and memorable including a relaxing playlist on the drive. I was traveling with a 12 year old and a 14 year old. He told us stories of pirates storing booty in the dark caves and taught us about sea urchins and let us hold one! My competitive kids wanted to race, so he set that up as well. The day was perfectly timed. I love that it is a small group tour--one other family and us. At the end of the day, there is a few hours of scheduled free time to relax or eat at the cute restaurants, play volleyball, eat ice cream, swim, or tan. I know it's possible to rent a car from Barcelona and just go to Costa Brava, but I was solo with my kids and I love how everything was planned and done for me. I didn't have to think about which beach, or where to rent kayaks or which cave to go in...we got a little adventure without a lot of hassle.

Must Do! - Tim was absolutely amazing on our Costa Brava tour! Super energetic, engaging, and made the whole experience fun from start to finish. He kept the van ride lively with jokes, trivia, and fun facts, so the drive flew by. There were a couple of younger kids on the tour, and Tim was fantastic with them — keeping them entertained and involved the whole time. He was also incredibly patient and supportive with the novice kayakers and those feeling a bit nervous about snorkeling or diving. You could tell he was really attentive to everyone’s needs and comfort level. Out on the water, he even shared some great stories (don’t worry — I won’t spoil them for you!) that made the kayaking part extra memorable. Tim truly went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. Highly recommend!

Great experience - Our family of 4 (including kids, 7 and 9) had a great time. Cliff jumping was a highlight for them. The caves, rock formations, and water are stunning. A day trip to the costa brava (if not longer) is a must!

Great fun and kid friendly! - This was so much fun!! We had a small group. My family of 3 and another family of 5. They had three kids and we have one kid, so this was really kid friendly. We spend the morning and afternoon kayaking, then snorkeling. The water was freezing, but so refreshing. Tim was out tour guide and he made the day so much fun!! He gave us trivia and guided us along the coast providing information about the area along the way. Then we had some free time to explore the town and stay at the beach. We enjoyed our lunch at a place called La Casita. Highly recommend if you want a good tapas lunch. The only negative thing I have to share is the “lunch” that was provided was not a very good sandwich. Just go eat at one of the restaurants. I can’t say enough about Tim by the way. I hope you’re lucky enough to have him as your guide. He was super attentive, knowledgeable and fun to be around!! He made the long drive interesting as well. The guy knows how to capture an audience with his stories. We had such an amazing time!! We would definitely do this again when we come back. It was that good.

Too expensive for what it is. Too much free time for the price you pay - We were disappointed For us, it was pretty boring. Too many breaks and little activity. You're in the van for an hour. Once there, you immediately get 20 minutes off. The explanation, fitting appropriate clothing took at least 30 min. When finally on the water you go to the rocks, where you then kayak for 5 min and lie still again for 15 min. The caves are beautiful but that's it. I think you can only kayak for up to an hour out of 3 hours and float and dock in between. The lunch ‘ the sandwich’ was not tasty and still frozen with us. No bottle of water as promised. The photos are a nice keepsake in themselves but are also very blurry. Back to the beach you get 3 hours off, a nice beach but not really much to do around if you don't like 3 hours of sunbathing It was a beautiful day but paying 89 euros per person for little action, disappointing trip and a lot of free time we had really imagined it differently for this price. Moreover, we found the surf suits and snorkeling equipment not hygienic. It smelled like old puddle and especially since corona there could be a little more hygienic conditions for this.
