As we wander through its narrow streets, which still echo its maritime heritage, there are numerous shops catering to all preferences: from the latest brands to traditional beach bazaars.
In the heart of its renowned shopping street, architectural treasures like the Saint Roma church can be admired.
Around 11:30 am, we will board DOFIJETS, which will take us to the nearby village of Tossa de Mar. During the boat trip, the unique and characteristic landscape of Costa Brava can be enjoyed: a series of impressive cliffs sculpted into whimsical shapes over centuries by the sea and wind.
- Tossa de Mar - At approximately 12:15 pm, we will arrive at the iconic village of Tossa de Mar, often referred to as “the pearl of Costa Brava” due to its rich landscape and historical elements that have earned it such a prestigious reputation.
History has left its mark here, from the Romans to the iconic fortified Vila Vella or Old Town of Tossa, which was declared an artistic-historic monument in 1931.
Upon arrival in Tossa de Mar, a walking tour will commence from the beach, following the fortified perimeter up to the lighthouse at the top, for those interested. From there, breathtaking views of the coastline can be appreciated. On the way down, the tour will pass through the narrow streets and stone houses of Vila Vella until reaching the fishing district. Afterward, there will be free time for lunch. This village boasts the finest gastronomic offerings in all of Costa Brava.
