Love this experience!!! - This was probably my favorite thing that we did in Barcelona. A great way to see the city. Highly recommend. Everyone at GoCars was so helpful especially since my son who’s 6’8” didn’t fit in the new cars. They pulled out an older model and off we went.

Really a great day with GoCar Barcelona! - The five of us were on a trip in Barcelona and decided to do something different from the standard tourist tour — so we went for GoCar. Really didn't regret it! Laughing from the start: you sit in one of those yellow carts and drive yourself through the city while a voice from the speakers shows you the way and tells you funny facts. It's super easy to follow and you really see a lot of the city, in a much more fun way than by bus or walking tour. Plus: you can just stop whenever you want to take pictures or grab a terrace. We had so much fun along the way — highly recommended if you are with a group of friends and want to do something fun. In short: sun, humor, great views and nice touring with your own squad. Do it!

A fun little adventure around Barcelona. - Great fun riding around the city in this little car. The navigation system gave great instructions that were easy to follow and if you did make a mistake it got you back on track. There was time on our tour to stop for a look around (once we found somewhere to park!) Would recommend to anyone confident enough to drive around a busy city.

Stressful not fun - We have thoroughly enjoyed Go Cars in other cities, but our Barcelona experience was frustrating and disappointing. From the moment we arrived, we felt very rushed and not welcomed. When we asked if there were restrooms we could use or any water that was available they seemed annoyed and neither were available. The young woman who gave us the overview of the car was very pleasant and thorough. Although she did not let us know how to find the navigation to return back to the shop if we needed to at any point. The car was smaller in the seating area than we are used to with go cars, and the driver was very crammed in, and the glare of the sun made it virtually impossible to see the screen. When we told them this upon returning, they said we should had polarized glasses. Also, the route does not reroute if you get off course and driving in Barcelona is not an easy task normally and there is construction/road closed. The most disappointing part was that the traffic is so thick and rushed that the driver is really unable to relax to take in any of the sites. Additionally parking is hard to find so we couldn’t really stop along the route. Finally, we were nervous because the US does not have a driving agreement with Spain, and so we were basically driving as unlicensed drivers – we signed a waiver regarding this, but they could not give us an answer as to how much the fine would be if we were stopped. Be aware, there is a delay in the acceleration of the vehicle, which is frustrating to the drivers around you when you are trying to proceed when the light turns green. If you are comfortable in heavy city traffic, stopping at every light with the sun beating down on you and not being able to really enjoy the sites, you could possibly enjoy this. The best part was when pedestrians think you look cute in the tiny car.

Very disappointing experience - Very disappointing experience. We booked the GoCar Tour to explore the city in a fun way as tourists, but ended up in the middle of heavy rush hour traffic – without any warning beforehand. This felt unsafe and chaotic, especially if you don't know the traffic here. We were shouted at and laughed at in the street by locals, which made the experience even more unpleasant. After an hour we stopped because it was simply too dangerous and stressful. When we reported this to the employee, all we were told was: “Yes, people want to go home, it’s busy,” without any empathy or solution. For tourists absolutely not recommended. Unsafe, poorly informed and completely lacking in guidance or support
