An Excellent One with a Difference - Simply putting it, the best way for exploring this magical part of Barcelona, especially with the Kids. Our Guide Katharyn educated us with clarity on the Gothic Quarter and the history of the city as a whole. She comes by as a very affable person. Our kids really enjoyed it, and Katharyn really kept them engaged with her stories, puzzles and challenges. We would not have enjoyed the Gothic Quarter any other way. Highly recommended!

Multiple Runner Bean Tours -- Loved It! - My family (2 adults, 2 kids around/about 10 yrs old) and family friends (another 2 adults, plus 2 more kids around/about 10 yrs old) were so very, very happy with our Runner Bean tours. During our weeklong trip to Barcelona, we enjoyed the following tours: - Kids & Family Gothic Quarter Walking Tour with Lisa - Montjuic Walking Tour with Julie - Montserrat Day Trip with Lisa - Girona Walking Tour with Maria Topline review: We had a terrific time, and we highly recommend Runner Bean for any/all families considering any of these tours. The booking process was smooth: very helpful, prompt communication (thank you, Gorka!) and answers to question, with assistance in refining our requests and plans. The guides were perfectly fluent in English and were incredible with the kids, especially Lisa -- our kids LOVED Lisa -- and Maria. (Unfortunately, our Montjuic tour with Julie was cut off early because of rain and hail (!!!), but Julie still warmly and helpfully did the best she could, despite the terrible weather conditions!) Lisa did an amazing job engaging the kids on both tours; seriously, we'd have happily spent the entire day with Lisa, asking her questions and listening to her stories. Meanwhile, Maria had the tricky task of running a Girona tour at the end of our weeklong trip, and our kids had very little patience for another tour, yet she expertly and flexibly managed the tour, showing us all the highlights while also letting the kids run and play and burn off some energy. We would absolutely book again, without any hesitation!

Great Gothic Quarter tour! - We (me, wife, 23 yo daughter) did the 1/2 day Gothic Quarter walking tour with Jarrod. We all had a great time! Jarrod was a font of information and brought along a folder of photos and illustrations to help us get a better understanding of what he was discussing. We all really enjoyed it. On top of that, Jarrod was flexible about stopping for coffee along the way and provided a QR code at the end that linked to his list of Barcelona recommendations! We referred to his list several times during the rest of our stay. We did another Runner Bean tour on this trip and based on Jarrod's tour and our other tour, we would not hesitate to book any of their tours!

Great tour - Excellent and engaging tour! Julie did a great job of informing and entertaining us. It wasn’t the easiest of tours because it was raining buckets, but Julie did a good job of trying to keep us dry.

Gothic Quarter Walking tour - Excellent walking tour in the gothic quarter. Tatia was our guide and she was great. Lots of energy and she made it fun and informative (even while we were getting rained on!). She also stayed after and answered several questions of things to do next and places to eat. Highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic tour! - Fantastic tour! Best one from our whole trip. Realized how wonderful it was especially after having been on a few other boring, mass market tours ok the trip. Lisa was kind, knowledgeable, and engaging. Her enthusiasm was infectious. My kids paid attention as well. Great historical information without being boring. Her love of the place really showed.

Really informative and fun - Had a great time on the tour. Lisa was amazing. She managed to keep my 7 and 8 year old boys engaged and interested the whole time. Also very informative. Definitely recommended this tour though it is pricey for a small group

History and Legends of Barcleona's Old City - Katharyn was an engaging and informative tour guide. She cleverly had some of the group act out a legend so that we wouldn't forget it. I highly recommend this tour for an overview of the highlights of the Gothic Quarter.

Gothic tour 5* - Amazing Barcelona history lesson with Julie. Gothic sights are amazing especially with the meanings and explanations given. Had an amazing time Well worth the time spent 😊

Fantastic tour with Lisa!! - We had an excellent Gothic quarter tour with Lisa. She is clearly an expert on Spanish history, especially of the Catalonia region. I felt much better informed about the whole region of Catalonia. She took us through some quieter streets as she brought history to life, which was wonderful. She is also quite funny which made the tour a lot more interesting. I highly recommend the Gothic Quarter tour and wish we had the time to do the other tours with Runner Bean!
