Friends and Burgers Top - I went with some friends of Arrels to the Hard Rock in Barcelona and we had a great time. We ordered some burgers and cocktails and everything was great. The place has an atmosphere and the staff very nice, we were served quickly even though there were quite a lot of people. Very beautiful music too. We loved it, we will repeat for sure!

Rock vibe and American cuisine in the heart of Barcelona - The Hard Rock Café in Barcelona, located on Plaça de Catalunya, offers a vibrant atmosphere with rock memorabilia and a good quality classic American menu. The staff is friendly, although service can be slow at peak times. Prices are a bit high compared to the local average, but the experience is worth it.

If you know one thing, you know all - If you know a hard rock café you know what you get. Price not necessarily cheap but yes you know it. Service very friendly and endeavoured. Quality was definitely okay!

Nice but not the best... - We went there as a family. The shop is really too small and people get on it. Rather than having two small shops, make one big one. The official language of the HRC is English. Too bad to have trouble making yourself understood by the server. The decor is nice but in the left wing the decor is almost non-existent: replaced by a large TV screen. The dishes without much originality. However, it is time to think about people who can not eat either spicy or burgers. Tapas assortments would be fun! Especially in Spain. However, I took the salmon that was famous. Cocktails are still great.

Citytrip - The reception was nice, we had to wait a bit as they had no free tables. So we visited the shop next door. After the table assignment, the service was friendly. The kitchen a bit “overwhelmed”because such a big crowd (Easter Monday). So you had to wait a long time for the food. Music, unfortunately on not so rocky road anymore. The cafe is located almost at the beginning of Rambla. There is another shop near the Sagrade Familia.

Food good, service very unfriendly and annoyed - We stayed with a group of 17 people at Hard Rock Cafe Barcelona. After a wait of about 30 minutes, we were finally accompanied to our table by an initially friendly employee named Octavio. Unfortunately, this was the highlight of the evening. The order was taken by another service person who made several mistakes. When we pointed this out to them, however, we were unkindly instructed that we had probably switched courts ourselves – an inappropriate and unprofessional reaction. The biggest problem, however, was payment. About an hour before his work, Octavio informed us that he would bring us the bill in half an hour. Upon our polite request to split the bill among 17 people, he quickly made it clear that this was not possible, as it was too elaborate and the restaurant would soon close. Instead, he offered to split the bill among five payers – a suggestion we gladly accepted. Shortly afterwards, however, we decided to split the bill between just three people to simplify the process. From that moment on, the mood shifted: Octavio reacted increasingly annoyed, became loud, mocking and provocative. With a sarcastic smile, he explained to us that by 2025, we should be able to settle a common score. The situation escalated so much that he eventually called in the manager. After Octavio stepped in, he finally agreed to split the bill between three payers. Overall, the evening was marked by poor organisation, inappropriate behaviour by staff and a lack of customer focus. For larger groups, we unfortunately cannot recommend the Hard Rock Cafe Barcelona.

Average food, awful service - Below average service, even by spanish standards.... My girlfriend and I visited here after 10pm on a Tuesday night. It wasn't in the least bit busy and I got the impression from the moment we asked for a table that we were an inconvenience. We were greeted by 2 staff members at the reception desk, one of whom scowled when we asked for a table and directed us to his colleague who, in turn, made it look like it was a huge effort to check for a free table, despite it being very much less than half full. We were taken to a table in the raised section at the rear of the room, whereupon we were left with our menus... and so we waited... and waited... almost 20 minutes before a waiter arrived. The delay was so long that we agreed that we would leave if nobody arrived by the 20 minute mark, which is why I know how long it took. The male waiter arrived just as we were about to leave. He was friendly and engaging, took our orders and returned with our drinks after about 5 minutes. The food was delivered roughly 10 or 15 minutes later by a different waitress, who was clearly in a rush, as we were not asked if we needed anything else e.g. drink top-ups, condiments etc. In fact, I don't has she placed the plates in front of us she turned and rushed off. At one point we asked a 3rd waiter for vinegar but this never arrived. Our meals were practically finished by the time the waiter who took our order returned to us and my girlfriend got a free refill of her soft drink. I did notice that he seemed to prefer chatting to the 2 women at a nearby table for almost the entire duration of our meal. The food itself was OK, we had burgers and fries, they were tasty enough, but nothing to get too excited about. I would not recommend this place to any traveller to the city. The food was average but the service was appalling. There are plenty of better establishments within a few minutes walking distance. I'm a frequent traveller to Spain so I'm very aware that service takes longer than we would expect back home, but this was far and away much worse than anything I've experienced in Spain.

It needs to get better. - We went with a voucher where we had Gold menu. We were poorly received by one of the people who must locate a table for you, as if it were a favor they were doing us.... The food's fine.
