A relaxing day activity with nice views of Barcelona - A great day activity where you ride to the top of Montjuic and learn about the history of the castle. You don't have to go inside the castle, but it is really interesting. It costs extra, but just to ride up to the top is a good thing to do because you get nice views and can stay up there as long as you'd like. There were kids and adults and some had brought snacks. Plenty of shaded places to sit and there was a guy playing live music as well.

A must visit attraction - The views were incredible. Montjuic Castle was also well worth the visit. Definitely one to book. So easy to get tickets online or at the counter.

Montjuic Cable Car - There is almost always a que to board the cable cars even if you have pre purchased tickets. The ride up to the castke is very smooth with great views of Barcelona.

Tough(-ish) walk to get up from town - Does what a cable car does! Takes you up. Takes you back. Great views. Queue at bottom can take a while but a decent view at the top over the water. Walking up from town is a tough one for anyone who is a bit unfit. Steep stairs towards the end.

Great views - It was really nice to go up to the castle during sunset you can’t miss this….. Thanks again for the experience

Great views! Busy in the mornings. - A great shortcut to the highly historical fortress on the hill (love it or hate it). The gondola has a "turn station" which also serves as a down hill entry and exit point for the parks walking trails below.

Good views - Even with the eticket, you still need to stop by the booth and get a paper ticket. They don't have two separate lines. Good thing is you have from open until before they close to redeem the purchased ticket.

Worth seeing - Very good view, from the observation deck, a bus station in front of the cable car is the view of the city even better. Above, a museum and a very well-kept park around the castle.

Expensive - Expensive for what it was. I wouldn’t buy these tickets outside of buying them straight from the site. Much cheaper.

Nice but… - Hop on hop off bus goes almost same place so repeat for us. If you have never been on a fenicular then try it
