Fun & great Montserrat tailored trip - This was part of a company fun trip. We had an amazing time with Elvira. She shared with passion Montserrat history and we got to do 2 hikes, one of them off -the-beaten track.She arranged a mini bus for the 13 of us and organized everything with professionalism & detail. We highly recommend her guidance & experiences.

The best customizable trip in Barcelona - Our trip was absolutely amazing from start to finish. It was so wonderful about it is that Elvira was completely flexible and tailored it just for our family. It was a completely different experience than the massive tours that you may see roaming around big cities of Europe. We did things that were major tourist, destinations, as well as due deep touches such as. Cave exploration and a beautiful lunch at a local restaurant. I highly recommend working with Elvira and her team.

One of the best tours I’ve ever taken. - Elvira was amazing to work with in setting up this tour, and Pau could not have been a better guide. He was knowledgeable, flexible, and thorough in our tour. He worked with our time frame, with what we wanted to see, and was a fountain of knowledge both in the drive to Montserrat and while we were at the monastery. I would not just recommend him, but would also do another tour with him to learn about things we missed the first time around due to time constraints that we had. I cannot recommend this tour enough and will happily give more information to anyone who wants it while they are considering or awaiting this tour.

Fantastic Tour! - This was an amazing tour! Elvira took us to a regional winery where we met one of the owners. We saw the winemaking process, toured the winery and tasted the wines. Meeting the owner was an unforgettable treat! She's the 5th generation of this family business. The wines were fantastic. Highly recommend the Tempranillo and the Granache.
From the winery we went to Monterserrat Monestary in time to hear the boys choir. This experience was so special for my mother-in-law. We toured the monastery and museum and took photos of the amazing views.
This tour was a highlight of our trip and we highly recommend it!

Super fun day out with Elvira! - My family of four (college-age kids and my husband and I) had the most wonderful experience with Elvira touring Montserrat and visiting a local winery. Elvira was very communicative prior to the tour and was prompt with our hotel pickup in a comfortable car for our drive. She shared lots of information about local culture on our drive to Montserrat and was very knowledgeable about the area as a native of Barcelona. As she toured us through Montserrat, she was easy to understand and very pleasant. We enjoyed visiting Montserrat but it was also a highlight of the tour to do the tasting at a small local winery. The owner of the winery was lovely and we enjoyed her explanation of the wine making process and information on the family history of her winery as we toured the grounds. The wine tastings and meat and cheese snacks were a perfect way to end the afternoon before our comfortable drive back to our hotel. I cannot say enough good things about Elvira and wish that we had more time in Barcelona to do another tour with her. I highly recommend!

Five-star visit to Monserrat and a local winery(Jaume Giro i Giro)! - Sebastian, our guide, was incredible. Knowledgeable, friendly, charismatic and patient. We could not have asked for a better experience visiting Monserrat as well as a local winery.

Monserrat and wine tasting - We had an excellent experience. We were a group of 8 people, including teenagers and grandma. Marcel, our guide, and Mike were very attentive to us, gave us excellent explanations and kept the whole group entertained. We made the visit on Resurrection Sunday (Easter) and although it was a busy day, they managed to make our experience pleasant and we made the most of it. Highly recommended.

Lovely day outing with Elvira! - Elvira was an amazing tour guide and we enjoyed every stop that she recommended: Montserrat (monastery, hike, and farmers market), Vinyanova (traditional farm lunch), and Callbato (small village community). We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an experience outside of the city and wanting to learn/see more of the culture.

Worst experience ! Buyer Beware - We just finished a very frustrating trip organized by Elvira( Go Barcelona). There was no car/ driver to take us around. We had to end up getting into Elvira’s small rental manual/ stick shift car. She got lost three times ,and for an hour, while driving us back to our car in Colbatto.
I had asked her to make reservations 4 adults because my two teenage boys have adult appetites. When we arrived to the winery, they stated she had only made reservations for two people. While we were tasting wine and the tapas, she barges into the room and with dirty, ungloved hands proceeds to pick up a piece of toast, places tomatoes on it and then, with ungloved hands,picks up ham and “ makes a sandwich “ for our boys. We were grossed out and perplexed by this behavior. We had to ask her to leave our wine tasting/ tapas session.
She also counted the hour we drove our personal car to Colbatto as part of the “ 8 hour trip.” When we asked at the end of the trip if we could walk around Montaerrat for an hour, she stated no.
We basically drove up the mountain to go inside a small church and mediocre museum and then had to leave.
Overall, the trip is very pricey for the low budget experience. Thank God it is over.
