A favorite day in Barcelona! - Such a fantastic experience! This was our family’s favorite thing we did in Barcelona! James, our guide was a fantastic host! He was waiting for us exactly at the meeting point right on time and got us back right on schedule! You can tell James loves being a guide.
We brought our family with three children ages 15, 13 and 11. James was a wonderful driver and host to the entire group.
The day at the monastery was unbelievably beautiful. James got us on location quickly and efficiently and was able to provide history on the area. We then enjoyed a lovely cable car ride and hike down the mountain. James took fabulous pictures of our family for us and even offered for me to borrow his hiking sticks to hike down the mountain as I had some knee trouble. That didn’t stop me from enjoying the breathtaking beauty of the views at the top of the mountains.
It was a great tour and if you have time it would be a great addition to your Barcelona itinerary.

Must visit when in Barcelona - Friendly,Knowledgeable tour guide made our experience super. Sights visited were excellent and scenery breath-taking. The hike to the monastery was a great experience for me and the family.

An unforgetable experience! - A great tour! It was lovely to see Montserrat via this tour. Our mini bus pick up was easy and our driver was great! It is a short drive into the mountains to Montserrat. Our guide gave us plenty of time to explore on our own. Once we rode the cable car up to the top, our guide did a great job of pointing out interesting things as well as taking photos of our group for us. He was great!

Exceptionally enjoyable, informative and interesting experience. - Allen made this an exceptionally enjoyable and interesting experience. The tour was structured well, starting at the main level of Montserrat, then taking the funicular to the top for an easy hick back down to the main level. Allen's in-depth knowledge of the monastery, the mountain and the plants and animals on the mountain allowed us to learn a lot and have a great experience. We highly recommend the tour.

Beautiful mountain... - Beautiful mountain monastery and expansive views. The hour trip from Barcelona was well worth it. Our guide Jordy was great. He was knowledgeable and a pleasure to be with as we toured the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend the tour.

Excellent trip to the ‘must see’ Montserrat - Excellent trip to Montserrat with James who was a fantastic guide. We were one couple in a small group of 8. The funicular is one of the steepest in Europe and has fantastic views over Montserrat. Once up the top its a pleasant hike all downhill back to the monastery. Great views and photo opportunities on the way down. We got back to Barcelona at 2.30. Highly recommend.

Incredible Tour! - An absolutely incredible tour! Alan our guide was fantastic. Very knowledgeable of both the history of Montserrat but also geology and the flora and fauna of the region. An absolute must do when you are in Barcelona!
