• Cremallera de Montserrat - After a one-hour drive on the highway, hop on the cog-wheel train or the Aeri cable car to ascend the mountain and take in the breathtaking views of the area.
• Abadia de Montserrat - The tour begins with an introduction to the monastery’s history. After the guided tour concludes, there is free time to explore the stunning landscape independently, visit the local food market, view the audiovisual exhibition, and sample some traditional liqueurs.
• Montserrat Mountains - Montserrat is a rugged mountain situated 50 km southwest of Barcelona. It is regarded as the most significant and important mountain in Catalonia. The name Montserrat is derived from the Catalan words Mont (mountain) and serrat (serrated).

The mountain’s significance is linked to the legend of the miraculous appearance of the Madonna and Child in one of the caves, known as Santa Cova (The Holy Cave). The wooden carving of the Madonna and Child is preserved in the monastery’s church and is accessible to visitors. This depiction of the Madonna is affectionately called La Moreneta (The Black Madonna) due to its dark color.

• Correct dress code is requested to enter the Basilica at Montserrat. It is not permitted to enter with tank tops, strapless shirts, short shorts or sandals
• Queues to see the Black Madonna may occur depending on season.
• The Cable car facilities are not adapted for people with reduced mobility. In this case, it will be necessary to make the reservation with the ascent to Montserrat by the cog-wheel train.
