We attended a show of flamenco music and dance. Very good - The place is beautiful despite not being my favorite architecture. Worth visiting. We attended a flamenco music show.

Come for lunch; stay for the design, history and music! - Excellent. This space, even if you’re not a musician or singer, is incredible. The interior design and architecture are worth the visit. Once we heard the organizations playing, we were all in. Also, a nice lunch can be had, too.

Palace de Musica - Nice audio tour. Staff helpful. Very beautiful inside. Taped music played at intervals which was unexpected. I booked this tour as I had a little extra time and I am glad I did.

The most original concert hall (unique as a Unesco World Heritage Site) in the world! - The Catalan Music Palace, a masterpiece of modernism built between 1905 and 1908 and the work of architect Dominique I Montaner, is the only UNESCO World Heritage music hall since 1997. Splendid view of the auditorium on which stands a wonderful skylight (weighs 1000 kg!) of blue and gold stained glass, but also columns, stained glass windows and environments are the work of craftsmen. The concert hall, which hosts up to 2146 people, is still used today for peer concerts and evening events, but also for suggestive daytime flamenco shows and typical Catalan/Spanish songs, as during our morning visit. Note the appreciable interior decorations and the facade enriched with valuable sculptures, but also on the stage there are statues of busts of Beethoven and Clavè (local composer) and on the first floor there is a fantastic balcony adorned with 14 columns with different designs. The visit – reservation is absolutely recommended and, if you can, in the early morning of weekdays – is possible with a guide, audio guide or, as in our case, independently and dedicate at least 60-90 ‘. Admission costs € 18/adult but, with the Barcelona Card, we took advantage of a discount and paid € 13.50. If you do not have time, or want to attend an evening show, the visit is absolutely recommended, because it is one of the most eccentric and original concert halls in the world! One of the city's must-see attractions!

A vision that transcends the limits of the common and inscribes itself in the eternity of beauty. - The Palace of Catalan Music is a masterpiece of Catalan modernism, designed by architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner and inaugurated in 1908. This space is not just a showroom; it is a temple of art, where every architectural detail celebrates light, color and music. It is undoubtedly worth the price of the ticket for the guided tour, as every glass, every sculpture, every mosaic tells the story of a time when Barcelona breathed innovation and beauty. This is what we did on a Saturday during a visit to the city. We were fascinated, leaving, after a long hour of contemplation, we discovered that he was about to start a concert whose ticket was less expensive than the visit. Thus, I strongly advise those with a flexible agenda to choose to know the Palace in the context of a concert: not only is this work of art appreciated, but also its exceptional acoustics, designed to elevate the musical experience to an almost spiritual level. Finally, visit the free-access café, which preserves the magnificent original architecture and reflects the transcendent vision of Domènech i Montaner

Marvelous building - Unfortunately we were only on sightseeing at the theatre. Next time we would lovd to try to be part of a classical concert here so we could experience the acoustic. The building in itself is fabulous. Make sure to sit down for a while and just look at all the details in the building.

Good information but more historical context would have made it great - Very good tour but more information on each aspect would have made it excellent.

Not a must visit - Beautiful concert hall, but honestly, the ticket price is way too high for a short visit. Unless you are a huge fan of Modernism, you might find it's not worth the 20+ euros just to look around for 40 minutes. It's much better to buy a ticket for an actual concert to experience the acoustics, otherwise, it feels like a bit of a tourist trap.
