Park Guell - David was a wonderful guide. We loved the Park. Amazing! We had many complications with Amigo Tours while in Barcelona. Their guides were wonderful, but their administration was poor. Almost every tour had some mishap.

Nature + Architecture - Visiting Park Güell was an unforgettable experience. Seeing Antoni Gaudí’s vision come to life through the colorful mosaics and unique architecture was incredible. Our tour guide " Martiko" was awesome—so knowledgeable and engaging, making the history and symbolism easy to understand. Highly recommend!

I do not recommend Amigo Tour - We do not recommend this Amigo Tour. Our guide was kind, but she seems not to understand the fact that we are not children, we are adults, and she needs to speed up her tour. She went on and on about the same thing many times and was not able to tell us the key points. During our stay in Barcelona, we booked 6 tours with different companies. We would recommend Marc from Travel Brillent to Monterrat and Perrine from Experience for Life of Picasso walking tour with museum entry.

Do Not Recommend - The one star is for how Amigo Tours and not Park Guell itself. My friends and I (7 people, I bought for a group of 4 and they bought group of 3) bought the CityPass and this was what it came with for Park Guell so that is the only reason we have this. What we had was the “Assisted Entry” for Park Guell. We had a 2:45 appointment for it and I didn’t realize we had to meet up at a restaurant and not at Park Guell itself. My friends never got the text and email about it so I called Amigo Tours that same day while we were on the train on the way there to check if we had to meet up at the restaurant and they said we did. I asked if we could be 5-minutes late and they said we had to be there by 2:45 or we will be left behind. So instead of going out to grab food first (we just got to Barcelona from our flight that day and have not eaten all day since 4am and there are no places to get food inside Park Guell) we went straight to the location and thought we would just go around for 30 minutes for photos then go get food after. We arrived at the meeting place at 2:38PM. There was a place that served food there and we bought a couple of drinks and we were told by the lady tour guide we were leaving at 2:45 (so we took it as a sign not to order food since it will take too long). Around 2:45 she told us we were still waiting for 4 more people and “we will play Where’s Waldo” once we get to the entrance and if we could help her look for them. I asked what they looked like and she said she didn’t know. So it turned into a wild goose hunt of trying to see which people are grouped up in 4. Now, I do not mind helping, but at this point we are tired and hungry and just want to be let into the park. Around 3pm, I asked if we could go in and she said no because we bought a “group ticket” so we could only go inside together with the rest of the group and she said we will have to wait a bit longer. Now, I have no clue how our reservation for 4 and reservation for 3 (total 7) became a group reservation for 11 so I was taken aback by how we couldn’t go in without the people who were late (especially when I was told on the phone we would be left behind if we were not there by 2:45). She then showed us the map and kept us waiting until it was finally 3:15, 30 minutes from the time we should have been in Park Guell already. I told her I was sorry but we have been waiting for 30 minutes and she still kept saying we couldn’t go inside without the 4 strangers who were 30 minutes late. I told her that isn’t fair especially when I was told on the phone that we would be left behind if we were not there by 2:45 and these people are already 30 minutes late. At this point, I am obviously very angry trying to explain that we should just get inside as it has been so long and she finally said “I will check with the office”, but in reality she was calling the guests again and they finally arrived. By the time we got inside, it was already 3:20PM. I called Amigo Tours explaining the situation and I was told “so what is wrong? You went inside” and I was told to just “send an email”. I don’t know if it’s the language barrier or what. But apparently no one in Amigo Tours think that making you wait 30 minutes and “play “lWhere’s Waldo” because another guest is late (especially when they told me on the phone we would be left behind for not being there by 2:45) is wrong.
