She will share her family’s passion for winemaking, and you’ll sample some of their finest wines. The breathtaking view of Montserrat as a backdrop to the vineyards makes this visit truly memorable. This is a genuine, family-owned winery, and you might even meet other family members as they go about their day. It’s a true privilege to visit here.
- Felix Massana Rafols - 12.00pm - The second winery is another small, family-owned establishment where the owners will personally guide you. This intimate visit includes a tour of their underground cellars, which they carved out themselves. You’ll enjoy a personalized wine tasting experience, with the owner’s wife offering a variety of wines based on your preferences.
- Pacs del Penedes - 2.00pm - After visiting two exceptional wineries, we’ll take you to a farmhouse-style restaurant for a traditional local lunch. There are various typical dishes to choose from, but the standout feature for most is the restaurant’s location—right in the heart of the vineyards!
- Pares Balta - 3.30pm - Our final winery of the day is another family-owned gem. The grapes here are grown organically and follow a biodynamic approach to winemaking. You’ll learn about this innovative method as you walk through the vineyards, explore their underground cellars, and enjoy an extensive wine tasting, followed by an olive oil tasting.
- Palace of Catalan Music - 6.30pm - We will depart from our last winery and return to Barcelona around 6.30pm.

A fantastic day with a great guide. - Steven was a fantastic guide and took us to fantastic wineries with a lot of different products using the region’s crops in different interesting ways.

Outstanding - Stephen was a great host/driver. Not only got us place to place safe and sound, but was also very helpful in answering any and all questions we had. The wineries visited were outstanding, a truly unique experience and highly recommended for any wine lovers

Wonderful time with Rod - We had an amazing time with Rod!! He is the perfect guide- laid back but super informative, giving great history and architecture facts and bring you to the best places possible. Absolutely recommend the Cava wine tour- the family wineries are beautiful and friendly with great products. 10/10 would do it again

Best tour in Spain - Probably one of the best tours I’ve been on. We visited 3 boutique wineries in the Penedes region. Every winery was beautiful and the staff was so kind and welcoming. We met the owners who also worked in site and you could see their passion for their wine. Our guide was great. She filled us in with history of the region and wineries. Overall great!

Amazing day in Penedes wine country. - A perfect day! I learned a lot about Catalonia and a little about wine. Rodrigo (Rod) was an amazing guide. Fun, knowledgeable, friendly, and fluent in English. The selected wineries and restaurant were all interesting and unique. The drive was beautiful and informative. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you get paired with Rod!

Wine tasting trip with friends - Rodrigo was excellent. Really nice guy and funny and full of knowledge of Spanish history. Highly recommended. You get to learn a lot about how wine is made.

Great vine, great guide, great people - Rod was our guide, and it was amazing! Great connection, and we matched the mood from the very beginning! The car ride was very safe, and Rod took care of us as a group well. He managed to find a nice lunch place for us. We had a great talk, and Rod also knows lots of interesting facts that were actually interesting for us. When I'll come here next time, I'd like to have Rod as a guide because now I know it's a safe choice.

Great wine with great company - Took this trip with Rod, and it was amazing! As a person who knows nothing about the wine production, I was fascinated by all the wineries we attended. Also, the atmosphere was so nice during the whole trip, I definitely recommend!
