• Cattedrale di San Sabino - As we pass by the Cathedral of San Sabino, we’ll indulge in our first tasting: focaccia barese, the quintessential street food of Bari. Freshly baked, with a crispy exterior and soft interior, it’s topped with cherry tomatoes and olives, perfectly embodying the city’s straightforward, flavorful cuisine.
• Museo Civico Bari - As we continue through the historic streets and near the Museo Civico di Bari, we’ll pause for a hot, freshly prepared panzerotto. Golden and bubbling, filled with classic tomato and mozzarella, this cherished snack is a true emblem of Bari’s everyday food culture.
• Corso Vittorio Emanuele II - While strolling along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, we’ll relish an authentic octopus sandwich. Crafted in line with local tradition, it offers a robust taste of the sea and highlights Bari’s deep connection to the Adriatic and its fishing heritage.
