Unforgettable bonding with horses! - What a special experience! If you want to spend some time with some sweet horses this is it! A rural location in the Algarve but made by way as a solo traveler by Bolt/Uber! I was paired up with Mayax a sweet light colored horse, who let our group on a lovely walk around the property. You begin with the horses, giving them space to approach you, spend some time brushing them, head out for a walk, and then finish with some additional bonding time. It was absolute magic! Magical Experience - This was a lovely experience where you can really feel your soul being recharged by being in the company of these wild horses. Walking a horse, with the others following along, through a field of wildflowers in the hills of Portugal... no comparison! Sachin was a lovely host with a true love of nature and the animals. I have always been an animal lover and this was nothing short of a magical experience.

Wonderful and warm experience - This man saves horses from a beautiful and pure heart. You can see directly from the horses that they are happy and satisfied... they radiate warmth. The walk is through a beautiful area near the commune. I came back very calm and relaxed. Nice work by this man!

A walk to remember - What a wonderful and unique experience being able to walk beside the horses on this journey. The weather was phenomenal and so were the beautiful surroundings. The horses were lovely and being able to spend time and bond with them, learn and understand them as we walked was such a deep experience. I had Boneco who had quite a history and definitely challenged me at the beginning of the walk but towards the end we learned from each other and began to move in sync as we walked, it was an overhwelming experience and would highly recommend. Sanskin and the his sanctuary community were wonderful and warm hosts. Such a genuine experience.

Beautiful experience: totally zen:-) - Soothing to really be in the here and now by walking 2 hours with horses. Also special to experience the life of the beautiful people on the ground. Highly recommended for animal lovers and people who want to de-stress.

Wonderful horse walk! - The holistic horse walk was an amazing experience through the beautiful nature of the Algarve... I was used to ride on a horse, but the connection you make with a horse in this way is super special. Sakshin shows and shares his passion, how to connect with the horses in a natural way. He and the horses learned me to be fully in the present moment and to open my heart. We had beautiful conversations, fun and it made me feel completely relaxed. I can strongly recommend this!

Walking with Rescue Horses - We had an overall great experience walking with the horses and watching herd behavior. Our guide was very open and was happy to answer our questions about the rescue and the stories of the horses.
The horses could have slightly better ground manners but were very sweet and it was a pleasure being able to have been around them. If you're a beginner, make sure to ask for the easiest horse to handle and ensure you ask about their quirks beforehand!
I am an experienced horse person and had a great time, other than the horse I was leading simply becoming very playful while on the lead, but it was still a very fun experience to have!

Horrible - Trip got moved from 6pm to 4pm which wasn't an issue.
Got a taxi to the location provided but ended up on the side of the road.
Used Google maps to try and find location but was just sent down dirt roads,no sign posts to location at all.
Very disappointed as my daughter was looking forward to this very much.

After having paid, confirmed we were on our way, the owner cancelled 1 hour before by email with no phone call. - At least honor the order and then hold your words. You wrote me by email :
"I'm sorry but the walk started at 1400 instead of 1600. It was busy and it slipped through my attention to write this to you. The other guests couldn't wait due to other appointments. We are back at 1600 and we can do horse cuddling."
We waited at your gate 1 hour from 15h45 (15 min before the scheduled time) until 16h45. Nobody showed up and nobody contacted us. Too sad.
