Wonderful experience and wonderful service. - From so many tours on the site we decided to take this helicopter tour because we thought it was the best option and it was! For a moment I thought we would lose the reservation as we were late and when we arrived at the place we were told that it was okay and that there was no problem, Miss Isabella kindly provided us with the service as did another gentleman who was with her (I lost the paper where I wrote down the names:( ). We waited a few minutes while they explained and gave instructions about what our experience would be like until our time to board the helicopter came. The captain very attentive and answered everything we asked during the flight, incredible views, touched us a clear sky, which incredible to see all Rio de Janeiro from a helicopter, is giant is your beautiful place. Thank you very much and congratulations to the whole team, you do a great job and we are very happy to have chosen you. I hope one day to return to Rio de Janeiro.

The helicopter ride was... - The helicopter ride was amazing. We got to see beautiful, breathtaking views of the city. Definitely worth doing!

A must do highlight for any trip to Rio! - Zooming around Rio and the Cristo Redentor statue was absolutely breathtaking. The day I went up was slightly cloudy, which actually made for a really dramatic view of the city – I loved it. The pilot didn’t say much, understandably, since he was busy listening to air traffic control (the skies are packed with helicopters, small planes, and even parasailers!). But he did point out the major sights, which made all the difference. I’d definitely do it again – it was such a thrill! Make sure you don’t have a busy day when you go. I booked the day before and was scheduled for a 9.30am flight. The guys seemed a little unsure about my booking but were super helpful and got me onto a chopper for around 10.30. As a side note, there was a photographer called Danny who offered a 360 video of the ride for 450 reais. I thought it was a great option, as it meant I didn’t have to focus on taking pics during the flight. He strapped a camera to the front of the cockpit that recorded both the view and me inside. I was expecting at least one still photo of me in the helicopter too – that would’ve been nice. He promised to send the footage after four days. I didn’t receive anything, so I followed up over a week later and got a 19MB file and a link to be able to view it in 360. I’ll be honest – it’s 30 minutes long and you have to download an app to see the 360 effect so I haven’t watched it yet. I asked if he could send a shorter version or highlights, or even reduce the file size, but I didn’t get a response. Thankfully, I took a few videos and selfies on the ride which came out great. Overall, I’d say the 360 video is only worth it if you’ve got the time (and skills) to edit it into something watchable.

High Expectations, Low Satisfaction - I recently booked a helicopter tour with Commandante Nobre for myself and a friend, expecting an enjoyable and exclusive experience to take in the stunning views. While the scenery was breathtaking, the overall experience left much to be desired. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find another passenger joining us, who seemed to be like an influencer or at least behaved like one, and took the front seat. Throughout the flight, the pilot's attention was primarily focused on her, following her instructions for optimal photo angles. This made us, sitting in the back, feel like mere spectators rather than valued passengers, despite paying the full fare for the tour. In general, the pilot's attention seemed disrupted at times, which raised concerns about the overall professionalism and safety of the flight. The focus on the other passenger left us feeling overlooked and unwelcome due to some remarks made during the flight. While the views were undoubtedly beautiful, the lack of professionalism and disregard for our experience significantly marred the tour. We felt like secondary passengers and were not made to feel welcome. Durante o voo, a atenção do piloto estava principalmente focada nela, seguindo suas instruções para os ângulos de foto ideais. Isso nos deixou, sentados no banco de trás, sentindo-nos meros espectadores e não passageiros valorizados, apesar de termos pago a tarifa completa pelo passeio. Em geral, a atenção do piloto parecia estar um pouco dispersa em alguns momentos, o que levantou preocupações sobre o nível de profissionalismo e segurança durante o voo. O foco no outro passageiro nos deixou sentindo negligenciados e indesejados devido a alguns comentários feitos durante o voo. Embora as vistas fossem indiscutivelmente lindas, a falta de profissionalismo e o desrespeito pela nossa experiência prejudicaram significativamente o passeio. Sentimo-nos como passageiros secundários e não fomos feitos para nos sentirmos bem-vindos. Esta experiência ficou muito aquém do que esperávamos ou merecíamos.

Most miserable time booking a helicopter trip with Viator - The most miserable experience in my life as traveler!I arrived at site 10 minutes before the scheduled time, I was waiting for an hour to start the excursion, the clerk told me to cancel if I don’t want to wait another 1-2 hours when the other passengers will . I told her since they are late at least an hour they should be cancelled. She asked me to read the fine line printed disclosures! The booking time was not guaranteed! They were people there in my situation who had to leave the hotel room at certain times! I am ashamed of Viator doing business with such a shady outfit! Your time is money think twice before you contract with Viator! Unfortunately , I had this experience with Viator 3 times within last 7 days! They just subcontract with local, unreliable outfits! They don’t care if you are happy it’s not!

Avoid this business if your time is valuable - Catastrophic! The organization is deplorable. They don't respect any time slots, no drinks while you need 35 degrees in their space. If we hadn't screamed to get through, we would have potentially missed our plane. If your time is precious during your holiday, I advise you to choose any other company than this one because with more than 2 hours delay, no apology and 15th discount on 580€, we can clearly say that they are thieves! The experience is nice, I recommend the helicopter flight but be careful the back door of our helicopter would not do properly and the headset microphone did not work either. THIS COMPANY IS TO ESCAPE
