Enjoy a picturesque drive through university school zones, the vibrant main town, and various communities, including historic former slave “free villages,” as well as fishing and farming communities. As you soak in the breathtaking views of lush mountains and the Caribbean Sea, you’ll start the volcano hike at 700 feet above sea level, climbing to 3100 feet with the summit of our 3792 ft volcano in sight. At the top, you’ll witness the crater of Mt Liamuiga volcano and enjoy panoramic views of the community below and the neighboring island’s volcano.
Remember to bring a change of clothes for after the hike, in case of rain or heavy perspiration. Rest assured, a personal guide(s) will accompany you throughout the entire adventure.
