Hes not just a driver… - Dijon was FABULOUS, and the perfect first activity as newcomers to the island. He took us all around the island pointing out almost every building we passed. He is very knowledgable of St. Kitts, the surrounding islands and all the fruits that inhabit the land (make sure the brush up on your fruits and nuts, he DOES quiz you as you drive). We made a few stops to take beautiful scenic pictures, and to explore botanical gardens and historic sites on the island. It was wonderful to see the lush greenery that is St. Kitts. Dijon manuvered us around the island with extreme skill, safety, and smiles (he really knew almost everyone we passed). He called into a local restaurant for great food and provided delicious coconut cookies made by his aunt that were made with love. We cant recommend Dijon highly enough for a fun, educatuonal trip around St. Kitts.

Great overview of St. Kitts - This tour is an overview of St. Kitts, with visits throughout the island. Including the historical Brimstone Hill Fortress, a garden with beautiful Batik fabrics for sale, and a pretty beach stop for lunch. We were visiting from a cruise ship & the only problem was keeping the driver aware of our time constraints. Wish we could have seen more. The pick-up spot right off the ship pier was easy, and the dropoff was great. Our driver Champ was fantastic, willing to take detours whenever possible. We were a group of 5, his van was super comfortable & his driving was excellent.

Excellent intro to the island - We really enjoyed getting to see the big highlights of the island and learning about the history of St Kitts. Romney manor with its beautiful gardens and the fort were highlights for us. We spent a long time at each. We really appreciated that we could set our own pace and that we did not have to do the driving. That climb up to the fort was no joke!! Champ do an amazing job navigating the roads, sharing his insight and history. We loved our lunch at Coopers, as well!! Well worth it!!!

Perfect Paradise Island tour! - Such a wonderful day! Champ was our guide and driver on this private tour: he was full of island lore and history, good humor, and consideration for our unique needs (we 4 are senior citizens who need a slower pace, and one of our party has mobility issues). We enjoyed a hotel pickup on time at the Marriott St.Kitts; a gracious introduction and a safe boarding g on the lovely and spacious van, which had great AC and a cooler full of iced water bottles. We proceeded through the Old Road to Timothy Hill, the overlook for the junction of the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Champ took our pictures at the quintessential St. Kitts sign like a pro; various backgrounds and lighting for the perfect Christmas card shot! We toured through the streets of Basseterre, with lovely explanations of each historical site. Our next stop was the Romney manor, with a beautiful garden and the batik craft shop (where we had time for the crafter to explain the process and to shop for beautifully crafted clothing and home goods). We proceeded on our island tour, passing by the “pregnant rock”, which has a legend of touching the fertility rock to increase your odds of having a child. We then climbed the precarious road to Brimstone Hill, the country’s only UNESCO site, where British and French forces fought in 1862, and the British ramparts were reinforced with enslaved persons from the nearby sugar cane plantation. We stopped at Sandy Point to view the French region that was eventually washed into the sea. We continued through the 9 parishes organized by the British and who established Anglican churches for each one (we were happy to hear St Anne was acknowledged in one). We stopped at Bloody Point to learn of the massacre of the native population by the British and French 😔. We continued on to Black Rock, an awesome volcanic rock formation that was formed during the last eruption experience on the island, surviving thousands of years of years. We shopped with the local ladies offering very inexpensive souvenirs and clothing. We continued our journey on the Atlantic side and finally made a full circle of the “drumstick-shaped” island at 4 pm, a full day of unique beauty and historic sites. Champ was the best guide we’ve experienced in many years and we were so grateful for his patience and consideration throughout the day. This was a special way to learn the culture and geography of a lovely island nation; we can’t recommend it enough!

A full day with a great guide. - We booked this tour for 4 couples and it was perfect! Dijon seems to know everyone on the island - and he is a wealth of knowledge about flora and fauna as well as the facts about St. Kitts. He made learning fun by asking us to guess about things. We laughed a lot and learned a lot. We enjoyed the stop at the botanical gardens. We opted out of the Fort stop, but he will gladly take you up there too.We stopped at several beautul photo spots. Plenty of water available and he even treated us to homemade coconut cookies! The last stop was a local beach where we swam for a bit. I really felt like we saw the entire island. This tour is terrific!
