Fabulous Bath photo walk - Outstanding photo walk around Bath yesterday with Simon. He really focussed on helping us develop the 'photographic eye and to see the picture. Patient and hugely experienced, Simon really took the time to explain and more importantly, show sample images that inspired us. A huge thank you.

A real eye-opener in every sense! - A great way of seeing Bath from a different angle, literally. It really opened my eyes to ways of seeing familiar things in a different way. I also learned a huge amount about photo composition, framing shots, using light and reflections and not least the myriad ways of enhancing a photo in the iPhone. All in all a fantastic experience. Learn how to take better iPhone pictures in beautiful Bath - This was such a great tour. Simon spent time explaining how to make the best if my iPhone and the light conditions before we started - I had no idea my iPhone could do so many things! The tour itself took in the most beautiful and iconic landmarks in Bath and with Simon’s expert guidance I came away with sone fantastic shots of Bath Abbey, Royal Crescent, the Roman Baths and The Circus and a new understanding if how to take great photos with my phone. I would highly recommend!

Informative, inspiring, and fun - Simon was an excellent teacher and good company too! Totally inspiring! Learnt about different angles, upside down, perspectives, reflections, framing, and using other objects. Also the many things you can do (quickly) to enhance the image on an iPhone. Photos taken on an African Safari a month later were in a different league to previously. UK photos have hugely improved too ;) Highly recommended.

See things differently and get some great photos of Bath - I've lived in Bath all my life but never actually taken a good photo of it! Simon was great company with a wealth of local knowledge and he showed me how to look at things from a different perspective. He also knows his way around a camera (obviously) so I was able to get a few pro tips to help move me away from full auto settings. I highly recommend this walking tour. Even if you are not really into photography you will end up with something much better than the usual holiday snaps. I wish I found a similar tour when I visited New York many years ago (franchise?). Best of all we ended up in the pub for a couple of cheeky pints!

Creative Fun Photography - a great way to see the sights of Bath. - Had a great time. I fancy myself as a bit of a photographer, got the big SLR cameras but they are a pain to lug around. So, being able to take better than just snaps and selfies with my phone was something I was keen to explore, and where better than the beautiful city of Bath. Simon was amazing, he knows his photography, and his city, and is great company. We chatted about my aims for the tour, cleaned my phone camera lens!! and set off. Simon has an easy way of showing you all the stuff you should know about your phone camera settings (but clearly don’t) without making you feel silly. We strolled round all the main sights, trying different settings and creative techniques as we went along. I can safely say the vertical panorama is a game changer! And had great fun pouring water on the floor to get some amazing reflections. Thoroughly recommend Simon and this tour, whether you are an enthusiastic beginner or a more experienced photographer. It’s great value compared to many other photography courses and tours I’ve done before, and I learned so much in a really short space of time. And most importantly, it’s fun, and you leave with some cracking images. Only downside, you’ll find yourself heading for the nearest phone shop at the end of the tour, looking for a phone upgrade 😁.

Great tour - Great couple of hours with Simon, lots of photography tips and tricks learned and some great photos taken. Saw some beautiful buildings and details. Highly recommend.
