Amazing experience - Absolutely amazing experience exploring parts of Bath you wouldn’t always notice. Got some fantastic photo tips and just an overall excellent experience. Simon is so knowledgeable, professional and fun. Definitely 💯recommend. 👍👍👍👍

100% recomended - why can't i give 6 out of 5? The experience was definitely worth it!
2 full hours exploring Bath (which we thought we knew well) taught us how to look at the city differently- and we came away with some amazing pictures.

Great 1:1 photographic walking tour of Bath - Following the article featuring Simon's photographic walking tours in Bath in the February 2026 edition of "Digital Camera" magazine (Issue 303), I contacted Simon to arrange a 1:1 walking tour to get some hints and tips on architectural composition and general handling of my new camera. His communication was excellent and a suitable date arranged. During our walking tour, Simon guided me around his home city and gave great advice on photo composition and things to think about when framing the shots. Great conversation throughout the tour and some good results - highly recommended, terrific afternoon - thank you!

An enjoyable way to learn how to make the most of the camera in your mobile phone. - This was an excellent couple of hours. Simon is an excellent tutor: a friendly, supportive, knowledgeable expert who will teach you how to realise the potential that lies in your mobile phone to capture wonderful images through using imagination and their image capture and editing capabilities. I learnt so much and will never look at a puddle in the same way again!

Excellent tour! I now act... - Excellent tour! I now act like my dog with head down all the way time. Mostly because Simon taught me the beauty of photos through reflections in water. But best of all is he showed me additional features on my iPhone settings I didn’t know I had or had to use.

Want to be a better photographer? Simon can help. - If you think you might have an eye for photography but you want to upgrade your skills, Simon is the person to walk with and listen to. He is all about composition and what makes a photo work, and he is adept at imparting what he knows. I liked learning how good composition is something we can invent by taking advantage of the ordinary things that surround us - people sitting, people moving, reflections in glass, any reflective surface, the shadows that things cast. His tour/lecture went beyond the allotted time, he covered a lot of material, when it was over I was glad I did this. Strongly recommend to anyone who is open to seeing more of what’s out there and using what you see to create compelling compositions.

Who knew? Cool ideas for smartphone photography - This photography tips & tour was really interesting and fun. We got to try a number of techniques and everyone came up with at least one unique photo they really liked. It's given us the enthusiasm to organize another tour to work on specific types of photography! Thank you Simon
