Situated in a limestone outcrop, Batu Caves is a remarkable and intriguing cave temple. It comprises three large caves, with the main cave featuring elaborate Hindu shrines. This location attracts a significant international audience during Thaipusam, an annual festival honoring Lord Muruga. A notable addition is the 140-foot statue of Lord Muruga, visible from afar.

• Lata Iskandar - Lata Iskandar is a waterfall located along the main road from Tapah to Cameron Highlands, approximately 25 km before Ringlet. The waterfall cascades over multiple tiers of granite slopes, with the final drop being 25 meters high, flowing into a small pool before continuing as a narrow stream. On weekends, the waterfall is bustling with tourists and local visitors.

They gather under the refreshing spray of the falls or pose for photos on its rocky ledges. Quaint shops and stalls, situated along the main road facing Lata Iskandar, offer shopping opportunities for ethnic souvenirs, tribal handicrafts, unique herbs, tropical fruits, and even aphrodisiacs.

• Boh Tea Plantation - BOH Plantations was established in 1929 by J.A. Russel, a British entrepreneur during the British colonial period in Malaya. He was optimistic about the tea plantation business due to high demand despite the global Great Depression at the time. Recognizing the potential, he applied for and received a land concession for his first tea garden in Habu, Cameron Highlands.

BOH Tea Plantation is a must-visit destination in Cameron Highlands, offering scenic views, tranquility, and cool fresh air! The journey to the BOH Tea Plantation is an adventure in itself. Boh Tea Plantation spans 8,000 acres of tea plants, making it the largest tea plantation in Southeast Asia. The road is narrow and winding, so it’s advisable to honk while navigating corners to alert oncoming traffic. Honking becomes quite enjoyable after a while.

Despite the narrow roads, the view of green rolling hills, with neatly arranged rows of tea plants, is truly breathtaking and refreshing! Often, visitors may want to stop their car and walk through the tea plantation to pick some tea leaves themselves.

The Sg Palas ‘ummph!’ BOH TEA Plantation offers a FREE guided factory tour showcasing the tea leaf processing. Don’t miss the nearby BOH TEA SHOP, where you can indulge in a delightful cup of tea, cakes, and enjoy the enchanting ambiance and view of the BOH TEA Plantation.

• Big Red Strawberry Farm - Big Red Strawberry Farm, also known as Taman Agro Tourism, is an agricultural center cultivating strawberries and organic salad-based vegetables on a steep hill slope overlooking Brinchang town center. Accessible via a backdoor route from Star Regency Hotel (signs along the main road, same direction as Cactus Valley), the farm is one of Brinchang’s most popular tourist attractions.
• Cactus Valley - Situated in Cameron Highlands, Pahang, Cactus Valley is one of the largest and most popular tourist destinations in the area. The valley boasts a wide variety of cactus plants, some as old as 60 years.

Cactus Valley also features an extensive range of plants and foliage, including roses, calla lilies, impatiens, fuchsias, ananas, camellias, hibiscus, rhododendrons, bird of paradise, glory bush, clivia miniata, peaches, hippeastrum, geraniums, coleus, gerberas, oncidiums, and many more. Varieties of apple trees and passion fruit plants are also cultivated here. These items are available for purchase.

The collection of C&S plants is impressive, and there is a retail section. Most specimens are grown in pots. Strawberries, tomatoes, and vegetables are also cultivated in the vicinity.

• Sam Poh Temple - Sam Poh Buddhist Temple is located in Brinchang, built high on a hill overlooking Brinchang town. Due to its location, the temple offers a great view of Brinchang town and the houses scattered across the surrounding hills. Constructed in 1972, Sam Poh Temple is the 4th largest Buddhist temple in the country. Among its features is a large statue of Lord Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. The temple is beautifully maintained by residents and monks. Surrounded by a bright yellow wall, the temple exudes serenity and peace. Inside, there are numerous statues, both Buddhist and Chinese, with incense burning in memory of those who have passed on. Visitors should remove their shoes before entering the temple halls.
