• Thean Hou Temple - Thean Hou Temple is one of the oldest and largest temples in Southeast Asia. Located southwest of the city, it is a popular tourist destination. Dedicated to Tian Hou, a goddess believed to protect fishermen, the temple is also a sacred place where many come to worship Guan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy. Built by Kuala Lumpur’s Hainanese community in 1894, it is set on a hill and offers magnificent views of the city.

• A Famosa Fort - A former Portuguese fortress located in Malacca, Malaysia. The Porta de Santiago, a small gatehouse, is the only part of the fort that still stands today. This is one of the main tourist attractions in Malacca.
