• Batu Caves - Batu Caves is a limestone hill featuring a series of caves and cave temples located in Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia. It derives its name from the Sungai Batu river, which flows nearby. It is the tenth limestone hill from Ampang, and Batu Caves is also the name of a nearby village.

In 1920, wooden steps leading to the Temple Cave were constructed, later replaced by 272 concrete steps. Among the various cave temples at the site, the Temple Cave is the largest and most renowned, named for the Hindu shrines it houses beneath its high vaulted ceiling.

In August 2018, the 272 steps were painted in a vibrant color scheme, with each set of steps featuring a different range of colors. However, the National Heritage Department quickly accused the temple’s management of violating laws requiring authorization for renovations within 200 meters of a heritage site. The temple’s management contested the claim of unauthorized renovations.

It was built in honor of Reverend Master Chin Swee, a Buddhist monk from Fujian Province, renowned for his ability to summon rain and ward off evil spirits. One of the temple’s most recognized landmarks is a nine-story Pagoda, adorned with images of Buddha and thousands of blessing lamps. Visitors can climb the steps to the top of the pagoda, where they are rewarded with panoramic views of the mountain. The temple grounds also feature gigantic statues of Buddha and Kuan Yin, along with intricate sculptures of animals and inscriptions of ancient Chinese traditions and beliefs. This temple is visible from the cable car on the way to the top.

• Genting Highlands Premium Outlets - This expansive outdoor shopping center boasts numerous well-known outlet stores and a diverse food court. The shopping mall is conveniently located next to the Awana Skyway Station, where visitors can enjoy a cable car ride to the top of Genting Highlands. There, they can explore several resorts and attractions, including Skycasino, Arena Of Stars Theatre, SkyAvenue Mall, and the 20th Century Fox World Malaysia Theme Park.

• First World Plaza - First World Plaza is a shopping mall at Genting Resort that connects to SkyAvenue at the peak of Genting. The complex features several tourist attractions, including Skytropolis Funland, Snow World, and Senikome Peng Heng. In terms of shopping, there are over 30 retail outlets, along with restaurants and cafes to explore. The mall is open daily from 10 am to 10 pm.
