Cairo to El Baharyia Oasis

Bahariya Oasis Guide - At 07:00 AM, your tour guide and driver will meet you in the lobby of your Cairo hotel, holding a sign with your name. You’ll then be transferred to Bahariya Oasis, located about 350 km southwest of Cairo, a journey that takes approximately 4 hours. Upon arrival in Bahariya, you’ll switch to a 4×4 vehicle to navigate the desert.

Black Desert - Begin your adventure with lunch, followed by a visit to “Al-Marsous Mountain,” one of the most renowned mountains in the Black Desert. This volcanic crater is entirely covered in volcanic jasper. Next, head to the Bedouin Village to see the Cold Sulfur Water Well and Crystal Mountain in the Valley of Agabat. This rare mountain is filled with various types of crystals, with more than 12 different kinds. Experience sandboarding in the Great Sand Sea, surfing the massive dunes near Siwa, which are considered some of the best in the world, with smooth, steep dunes reaching up to 140 meters.

White Desert - Continue your journey to the White Desert National Park, Egypt’s most famous desert destination. The park is renowned for its stunning wind-carved rock formations, which resemble giant mushrooms, chickens, rabbits, and pebbles, unmatched by any other desert in the world. You’ll then be transferred back to the campsite at Al Haiz for an overnight stay in a tent.

Drive Back to El Baharyia Oasis

Bahariya Oasis - After breakfast at the campsite, visit the Siwa hot sulfur water spring, where you’ll have a room to shower. Enjoy lunch at Bahariya Oasis before departing for Cairo at 2:00 PM.
