Visitors will have an unforgettable experience on the East Side of Roatan, known as the home of the “Pirates.” Guides will accompany them through stunning scenic views of villages and small local towns. The east side of Roatán is less touristy but rich in culture. The journey includes a drive through the African Village of the “Garifuna Tribe.” Guests will then board a local wooden taxi tuk-tuk to explore the unique Mangrove Tunnels once used by pirates. At the end of the tunnels, visitors will discover the clearest turquoise waters in the Caribbean. In the center, there is a floating bar and restaurant where guests can enjoy a refreshing drink, traditional fried pork, and local beer. They can also enjoy swimming in the warm water and snorkeling around the mangrove trees, which are teeming with marine life, including colorful fish, crabs, and various crustaceans.
