100 Stars and some - Jonathan was a wonderful tour guide. He is what makes memories happen. I highly recommend anyone use his services, he will become like family! We saw and did things we never would have imagined.

The Perfect Day - This experience was great for our family. Samantha was an excellent guide, helping us every step of the way. The kids loved the animal sanctuary, and from the chocolate experience to the run tasting to the beach, everything was perfect! Samantha was very knowledgeable and it was nice to be able to spend extra time doing what we wanted rather than having to follow another group.

Smooth sailing … lol - Great trip with no regrets!
Easy directions to find the tour guide. There were only 4 of us and our guide Phil in an air conditioned car.He was a really nice guy and answered all of our annoying questions . Learned a lot about the culture and history . Loved to see the island on the way to the stops and arrived before all the crowds . The sanctuary was beautiful and the highlight of course was the sloths . The beach was incredible as well . Never felt rushed or worried about making it back to the cruise . And Phil is the guy!

A good time in Roatan. - Great time doing this tour. Guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. She had some snacks and water for us after the first activity. Had a blast at the animal sanctuary with the kiddos. Would recommend.

Our guide was wonderful!... - Our guide was wonderful! He was flexible and took us to some other places. Visited the monkey, sloths. This was a great experience! Next we went to the chocolate store and rum store. Both were a great place to experience what this place offers. Would highly recommend George our guide. He took us to a great restaurant and the food was amazing.

A great excursion with a great guide. - Sinthia was a great guide who showed us around Roatan. The highlight was the sloth’s as well as the monkeys and local birds.

Fabulous excursion - The excursion started out super because of the perfect directions to be able to find our tour guide, Fred who was a wonderful driver and such a nice young man. All of us enjoyed the wildlife sanctuary, seeing sloths up close, interacting with the parrots and the monkeys, and then the stop to taste the delicious rum, chocolate and rum cakes resulted in buying some to take home & the beach stop was lovely, food was excellent at the restaurant and the water was so nice, as was having lounge chairs in the shade. It was the perfect amount of time and also he gave us a safe ride back to port in plenty of time to get back on the ship. Would recommend to anyone!

Samantha Is The Gold Standard Guide - After getting through the crowd of different tour guides we were met by Samantha from Tucan Tours. The expectation was to be in a van with 8 other travelers but to our delight Samantha was assigned our personal tour guide for the day. Up on departure she provided information about the country and the local flavor. She answered all questions asked as well. She is bilingual in Spanish and English, which was pleasing for me as I didn't have to struggle in Spanish. She took us to the advertised spots on the web page and upon completion she was more than willing to personalize the remainder of our time with her. She went above and beyond to accommodate us and we truly enjoyed our time in Roaton because of our interaction with her. If you find yourself looking for a personal guide while in Roaton don't hesitate to request Samantha as she is the true exception in the money driven industry of the tour hustle. Extremely friendly, on time, the vehicle is a new SUV and comfortable, and finally she is open to customize your experience as time permits. Treat her well Merry Christmas... Thanks again Samantha!

Best Roatan excursion - The tour with Jeimi was terrific. She was knowlegable and charming ( and a very good driver, which is quite an asset on the bumpy, narrow roads of Roatan). After a long and crowded walk from the ship, Jeimi was very welcoming and took us to the monkey and sloth habitat. The trainer was informative and we had fun with the energetic monkey and the calm sloth. Then we went to the chocolate and rum factories and finally to West Bay Beach. Jeimi kept her eye on the time and made sure that we would make it back to the ship in time. We were very grateful for her professionalism and attention. It was terrific day on Roatan and we would highly recommend Roucan Excursions when visiting Roatan.

Rainy but delightful - The communication from this company was fantastic. We were a little delayed coming from the cruise ship and they had called to check in and see if we were still coming (which we were) - and the tour guide was waiting for us and found us. It was a rainy day but the guide had brought an umbrella to the car. It was a private tour which was amazing and we had a full day planned to visit the monkeys, chocolate factory and the beach. However given how rainy it was we skipped the beach and went to the rum factory instead. After we finished there was plenty of time so we also did a driving city tour of rohatan and our guide provided knowledge of the city. Our guide was amazing, friendly and the best host we could have had. We felt at home with her and this is one of the best tours we have had in a long time.
